Long post Alert. One thing about me is, that I’m pretty private and don’t share too much of my business with others unless you’re close to me. But today, I must tell you how God has shown up and showed out for me! This girl has been through it, but she is a survivor!!!

For those who know me well, know I love to celebrate, especially on my birthday. This birthday is extra special to me, not only am I 55 today (double nickel as we would say, lol) but today I’m celebrating my life! God gave me a second chance and I’m grateful and blessed to be here. On this day last year, I was having a biopsy done. It was a bittersweet day for me, I was blessed to wake up to breathe and see another birthday, but I was sad because I couldn’t celebrate it like I wanted to. A few days later, I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. I celebrate today with everything I have in me because I SURVIVED. Pancreatic cancer is known as the silent killer and is one of the deadliest cancers and is normally found when it’s too late. But I’m here to say that my God saw fit that I survived and be a testimony to others and testify of how great and awesome He is. I thank God it was caught in the early stage and I can’t thank Him enough of how grateful I am for His grace and mercies. I’m being transparent, there was a brief time when I questioned if God loved me (devil putting doubt in the mind) because of certain situations that had been going on, prior to the discovery. However, I can shout with joy in my heart that my God definitely loves me! He showed it and constantly keeps showing me! God had everything in order before I knew I was about to go through this test. He denied things, that he knew at that particular time I wouldn’t be able to do, and it wasn’t time for me to make a particular move. I didn’t understand it at the time, but I understand now. He led me to the ER for something that didn’t have anything to do with what was later discovered (there is always a reason behind everything that God does). I’m glad I was obedient to that voice that told me to follow up with my Dr. after the ER visit, which I never do. He gave me a friend who had just recently gone through the

Minimalist table decor may be simple, but it is far from boring. Flashy doesn’t always mean better. You can still have amazing decor without putting too much into it. Not sure where to start? No worries! There are several easy ideas you can try. 

White floral centerpieces are always a winner. Pair them with candles and place them on top of a wooden slab for a stylish design. Grab a variety of wildflowers and place them in clear vases for a colorful and simplistic decoration.

Leafy garlands might seem basic, but they are great for adding a pop of color to any table. Pair
them with candlesticks or crystal glasses.

Clear decor is a great option too, especially for dinner parties and weddings. Place clear vases and
glasses along the entire length of the table in addition to white taper candles and crystal
candleholders. Mason jars can be used as stylish decor for any event, especially those with an
outdoor or rustic theme. Fill them with white flowers and roses to make a pleasing centerpiece. 

Hosting a formal event? Add bling through a minimalist design by using sequined table holders.
Use silver vases to decorate the table and add some light-colored peonies to add a touch of color.
