This reception. This head table!!! ✨ Talk about having a statement area at your wedding. You would never know it rained the whole time we loaded in to the venue! Our team may have been a little soggy, but the flowers held on and showed off for their moment.

This wedding featured the brightest white blooms and the sweetest bride and groom. 💞
We used a mix of white orchids, roses, peonies, campanula, and more to create this hand-tied and foam free cascading bouquet for our bride. The bridesmaids had smaller, standard versions of her bouquet. The whole day was just gorgeous! More to come… 🤍

Friends! Here are some photos from a recent styled shoot while I update you on all the things! We have been BUSY 🐝s getting the shop in order and while we have made progress, there is still so much to do 😵💫 and social media has definitely taken a backseat.
I’ve never had so many irons in the fire at once… scheduling plumbers and electricians, designing the space, working on wedding quotes, keeping the house fed and clean while Ryan is working on all the painting, assembling, and other things at the shop… plus we rescued a dog a month ago, and we lost my mom. She would have loved to see all of this coming together! 💓 So when I said everything is happening at once, I meant it! 🥲
The last “big” things are to:
-receive our cooler shipment on 8/29 (still looking for a few people to help unload, let me know if you are able!)
-move our inventory out of storage and into the shop
-assemble cooler and have utility sink installed
Wish us luck!!! Opening day TBD but it looks like we will be able to create our next event there the week of 9/16! 🤞🏼🙏🏼✨

Well it is no secret that we’ve been through a lot in the last year, let alone the last week. I haven’t wanted to even make a permanent post on my feed, but at the end of the day I’m grieving the loss of my mom. What a wild, roller coaster of a journey it’s been. I’m processing and handling all the things, but so glad to have a job that is filled with joy in the meantime. Let’s get back to work… gently. 😌⛅️🤍

I’ve had my head down for the last year as we navigated some tough situations in our family, and I am finally starting to look up and envision a future. My mind is churning with so many new ideas! I’ve been building my roots for years and am so ready for the next phase, whatever that may be. 🌱

When Rosaprima asked if I wanted to take part in their spray rose launch, of course I said yes! I was sent some of their ivory and blush varieties and ended up creating a ruffly cloud of flowers. ☁️ It was so fun to make something so large with just one type of flower that I usually reserve for boutonnières, bud vases, etc. Had to throw the florist in there for scale. 😂

There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful experience this wedding was. It was an achievement to execute such a large order, an hour from home, in the heat of the summer! ☀️
Not an area was left untouched by flowers, especially the ceremony! Ryan constructed the cross frame perfectly to fit my flowering needs, and we also accented the aisle with our white pedestals and urns at the end. The reception was filled with full runners and arrangements in our antique gold compotes. It was so beautiful!
I will forever be grateful to our clients for trusting me so much with such an important day. I can’t wait to share more. ✨

It’s a new week and a new month! ✨ We wrapped up June with a wonderful wedding that I will not soon forget. 💞 We’re event-free the month of July and I’m using this time to slow down with family, tidy up the workspace, and do all the other office tasks that get pushed aside when we are actively working events. I might not be posting as much this month, but we have so many good things coming. Happy July, friends! ☀️

I love all bouquet shots, but this isn’t one I do with all other flatlays. No way I’d chance damaging those fresh florals. Instead I opt to wait until the end of the night when it’s already done it’s job of bridals, walking you down the aisle, portraits, and reception entrance. Only after a hard days work, I sneak it from its vase. So there’s a pro tip for all the photographers out there and florists, I respect your work as much as you do!
