The countdown is on!

Join us on July 26, 2024 in celebration of 5 years of FOODLORE Fridays with a special evening of live music and delicious food.

We’re collaborating with The Little Cheerful  who will be serving up good vibes and a yummy menu— sneak peek on slide two! This is our second year collaborating with TLC and we cannot wait to have Aimee and the crew join us at the farm once again. We promise you won’t want to miss it!
In addition to not one, but TWO Airstreams run by the TLC gang, will be serving up a special drink menu for the occasion as well!

And we are thrilled to host a FREE live concert with Virginia’s modern jam band, 

KSC are no strangers to having a wild time. The genre-fluid, eclectic rock ensemble has drawn varied comparisons to the dynamic jams of Umphrey’s McGee and Widespread Panic, songwriting of John Prine, experimental psychedelia of Pink Floyd, progressive jazz-infused rock of Frank Zappa, and off-color humor of Ween and They Might Be Giants. With elements of crowd participation, off-the-cuff comedic bits, haphazard choreography, musical improvisation, you’re likely to laugh, and cry. Just remember to stay hydrated.

This special evening is made possible through sponsorship from the Virginia Hot Springs Preservation Trust. We thank them for their contribution to our live music program, bringing the community access to incredible free music all summer long.

Mark your calendars and tell a friend, because July 26 is going to be one for the books! We’ll see you there!

👉 TLC friends… i am so happy to announce lovely Sarah, our chef in residence for the summer season! ❤️

there is nothing she loves more than a good meal, live music, and taking care of folks.

when she’s not slinging deviled eggs, Sarah will be completing her 200 hour yoga teacher training throughout June and July. 🧘🏻‍♀️

she will be taking over the cute little kitchen as we expand to the new site; as well as helping to plan events, assisting in classes, and making sure everything is running smoothly!

Sarah is looking forward to cooking fresh, seasonal food and promises to make sure bacon wrapped dates are always on the menu.

when we met in 2022, Sarah knew that she wanted to get involved in any way that she could, and this summer we’ll be making her dreams come true!!!
make sure to pop your head in and say hello next time we cross paths friends… she’s a real sweetie, for sure! ✨
