It’s official. Photomatica’s co-founder, is married. Of course, he asked Doug to bring an analog Model 14 photo booth to his small family wedding in San Francisco. Really hoping we don’t lose followers as he was a major “thirst trap” for our female fans. He has assured us the “hot boi” posts will continue, so don’t leave us y’all.

In 1965 Time magazine hired Andy Warhol to produce a cover about teens. Warhol brought the sons and daughters from Time magazine executives to a photobooth on Broadway in NYC. Andy Warhol was the first artist to utilize the photobooth as a medium, and we are forever grateful for his art.

We scored two vintage photobooths last week. One we plan to keep for our future museum, the other will be placed in public for all to enjoy. These came from Indiana and Texas, but they were originally Canadian booths. The square screw heads, french instructions and perfect wiring told us so.
