Do you know how the band formed?

David and I met about four year ago in a newly formed country band. After that project with band was over. We started traveling the roads of MO,OK,AR &KS as an acoustic duo. Playing about anywhere we could at first . As long as it covered the cost of the road . ( most the time it did😂) We started to get a sound that we liked (with all acoustic instruments ) and much better gigs quickly.
We knew we could benefit from another element to the duo to get some different gigs we’d like. Well almost two years ago we ran into a fella at a private event. He was 6’9” wearing a Mohawk holding a Djembe (hand drum). I took that as a not so subtle sign from God that we had found our “other element” 😂 . We called him up on stage that night to join us and he has been with us ever since as percussionist. Soon after we started performing as Crooked Path Revival. Ann Killmon has joined us this past year in a part time roll as a fourth and fills in on percussion from time to time.

You can catch us tearing up the Ozarks this month starting at the bands home town. We will see you in Lamar, MO at The Belt Cocktail Co. Tonight with BIG RENS! Doors open at 5pm. We start at 7pm!
