GIRLS VS BOYS: who was more hype on the dance floor? Thanks @americanforkhigh for another great dance! #schooldj #utahdj #weddingdj
Best night ever!! There were no parties being thrown in Provo on Monday night so we're like... well, let's throw one🤷♀️
⚠️DON’T LET THESE 3 MISTAKES RUIN YOUR WEDDING DAY!⚠️
Go ahead and turn the audio off for this reel and read carefully.
These are mistakes I’ve seen in nearly a decade as a professional DJ, and they can save you so much stress on your big day - from the ceremony all the way to the end of the night!
1. 👉 CONFIRM ALL LAST-MINUTE DETAILS THE WEEK OF.
Can you imagine that sinking feeling when you’re standing in front of everyone, ready to start your first dance, and the song doesn’t start? Or, even worse, the wrong song begins playing? The anxiety of wondering if your DJ received the memo can be overwhelming in these crucial moments. Steer clear of playlist panic by making sure all adjusted details are confirmed during the wedding week, guaranteeing that your special requests are accurately queued up.
2. 👉 STAY IN COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR VENDORS, EVEN IF THERE’S STILL TIME BEFORE THE BIG DAY.
Booking a vendor is an exciting step. But the anticipation leading up to the big day shouldn’t be met with radio silence. Stay in the loop! Remember, it’s YOUR wedding, and vendors should be in constant communication, adapting to your plans. If you find yourself waiting, take the lead and confirm details with them. Your peace of mind is important!
3. 👉PUT SOMEONE IN CHARGE OF VENDOR COORDINATION.
Designate a single point of contact for communication with the DJ on your big day. With all the new-spouse activities, mingling with friends, and reveling in that “just married” vibe, the last thing you need is added stress about the flow of events and music during the reception. Assign a friend or family member to handle communication regarding announcements, timeline adjustments, and song switches. This way, you can fully immerse yourself in the celebration without constantly running back and forth to the DJ booth. We love to see your beautiful faces at the booth!! But our goal is to see you relishing the night, not managing logistics.

Hey! CC here, reflecting on the most unforgettable year Brown Sound has ever experienced, and it's all thanks to each and every one of you. So let’s recap:
1. This Summer, we said goodbye to Brown Sound's founder and my dad, Tim Brown. There are no words to capture the essence of the man he was. I am privileged to carry forward his legacy and name through this business. I think about him every day and make sure his vision is executed in every event we do.
2. We established a second base of operations in Utah!!
3. Brown Sound has covered it all—5k races, family reunions, corporate events, kids parties, school formals, and beyond. But this year, my focus shifted to my absolute favorite type of event: weddings! Celebrating love has been an incredible journey, and I've had the opportunity to share in the joy of some amazing couples.
4. An incredible surge in school dances this year! I definitely rediscovered my love for orchestrating those memorable nights for middle and high schoolers, we had the privilege of extending our services to many new schools in Utah!
Thank you for an amazing 2023.
We're gearing up for an even more spectacular 2024 with an insane lineup of weddings, school events, and much more.
Capturing the essence of a night out with the girls + special moments with the family💕 #weddingDJ #gno
Middle school dances are like magical moments of newness. The dance floor is a mystery, each step an adventure. Anticipation fills the air as the first slow song begins, a mix of excitement (and a hint of fear). This moment marks the start of unforgettable memories. These dances capture the essence of youth, where every song and step feels like a quick journey into the unknown.
Thank you, Lake Mountain Middle School, for having Brown Sound at your winter dance!
Sadie’s dance at American Fork High School last night😍😍 an incredible night with 1000+ people in attendance!! And can we talk about the confetti cannon?? Seriously the perfect addition to the perfect night.
