Helikon Rep was founded upon the ancient Greek idea that theatre must meet man’s need for communion, catharsis, dialogue and transformation. Fashioned from materials old and new, we awaken the power of ritual for contemporary audiences. There are spectators. Theatre is the event which occurs in the space in-between. We are committed to cultivating a space of dynamic transmission with our audiences

and between our artists. With an understanding that relationships deepen with time and shared experience, we are a collaborative group that creates pieces through a substantial gestation process to form a repertory body of work.
