We had a great time last year at the Mattie J CPR Foundation Duck Dash 5K, and we're looking forward to returning to Greeneville on May 24th for the 2nd annual race. I’m attending the 2025 ChronoTrack Timers conference in Daytona Beach, FL. The best timers in the world are here, with many of them timing hundreds of races a year. It’s a little intimidating to be in such esteem company, but I’m meeting lots of people and learning new stuff, even at my age! Lots of new stuff coming!

The ChronoTrack staff put on a 5K for the timers this morning so that was fun and interesting. I wont give my time but I was the first (and only) dude 70 over 😊.

The theme for the 3rd Annual Mendota VA 5K on May 10th is Hollers & Hills, and they invite you to wear hillbilly attire! The race is adding a 10K in addition to the 5K so you can see more of the beautiful Mendota Trail along the North Fork of the Holston River. Join us for the 3rd annual Ken-Ya Run It? 5K & 1 Mile on April 26 presented by Reynolds Memorial United Methodist Church. Brand new course at Sugar Hollow Park, which believe it or not, should be pretty fast. There is one tough hill but the rest of the course is pretty flat.
This race is a step towards a brighter future for 30 orphans in Embu, Kenya. By participating, you are helping the Bristol Hub mission team provide essential education, supplies, and nutritious food for these incredible children.

Join us for our first annual Tornado Speed Clinic! This clinic provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring athletes to experience what it’s like to train as a college athlete. Runners will be introduced to speed and biomechanical training, develop new skills, and gain exposure to college coaches and athletes. This is a FREE clinic for runners ages 10-19.
