My name is Sandy, and I'm a professional face painting artist in North West Louisiana. I would love to be the face painter for your next event. Great Idea!

I service all kinds of events, including, Birthday's Church events, school musicals, Mardi Gras and more. Thank you for visiting my about page. My name is Sandy Kalnasy, and I have been a wife and mom for over 40 years. I home schooled my kids and loved every minute of it.... well, almost every minute. Once the kids all graduated, I was left with an empty and very lonely house. I took a myriad of

classes and volunteered for my favorite charities, but needed something more. One day, a friend invited me to go with her to a class on face painting. This sounded like fun and we could paint the kids at church during VBS. Little did I know this little adventure was going to quickly become a BIG adventure! I instantly fell in love with our instructor and she has become one of my dearest friends. And I fell in love with the smiles - Those beautiful, pure and totally enchanting smiles. Within a few months I was painting at Mardi Gras, then the Red River Revel and I haven't looked back. This gift from God has given me great joy and it's the smiles on children and adults alike that keep me painting. I'm not a spring chicken any more, so I do have to limit the number of hours that I book per week. But, If I am available, I would love to quote your event. I promise you will love the smiles, too! When parents join their kiddos in the face painting fun, magic happens. These mommy and me butterflies totally enjoyed their Legacy HOA fall festival. Ejay, asked me to join her for this annual event and we had a great time together.

I painted two of the cutiest little princesses at a recent fall festival. Turns out, one of these precious girls knows a professional photographer that happens to be her grandmother. You can imagine how delighted I am that she offered to share her photos of their face painting experience. They are truly beautiful memories. Thank you Sandi Davis. Your work is amazing.

I joined Angie and Becky, to celebrate the staff at Oshners annual employee appreciation party. They hosted on Halloween day and included a costume contest that was hilarious! These nurses and doctors keep me in stitches! 🤣😉

Ejay, Becky, Sarah and I teamed up at Cypress Baptist for their highly anticipated, Family Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat. 100's of families came out to celebrate the cooler weather and fun activities. And as always, the kiddos had a total blast! And so did we! Thank you so much Brianne, for always including us in your celebrations. We love your congregation! ❤️

Prayers were answered, Saturday night, when the threat of severe storms turned into a beautiful night for Medcamp's annual Fall Bash! Sarah, joined me this year and we had a wonderful time working with all the amazing families who came out and enjoyed the festivities.

I would love to introduce the newest face painting artist to join our team. Please welcome, Sarah Philyaw. I have had several opportunities to work with her recently and she is a sweetheart. The kiddos already love her. You will find Sarah, with a sunshine yellow kit and wearing a yellow apron to match her warm and sunny personality. 🌞

I enjoyed another fall festival with the families at Jamestown Place Apartments. They had a great setup with an adorable fall food spread and lots of jumpy houses for the kiddos. Thank you, Michele for inviting me back again. You always do an awesome job.

Is this not the sweetest smile ever! There is no better reward for a face painter than the hugs and smiles! Even when my back hurts, I haven't eaten, I'm either freezing or sweating and the noise level is at a million decibels... its Totally worth those amazing smiles!

Pumpkin Shine on Line is always a festive, fun, fall treat! The park was literally filled with 1000's of fabulous painted and decorated pumpkins. Each one part of a theme and submitted by their school class. Face Painting by Becky and Sarah Philyaw joined me for several hours of speed painting lots of cute kiddos. I appreciate Southfield School inviting us to be part of this wonderful community tradition.

These siblings share their birthday with their dad! How fun is that! ❤️
I've painted these two cuties before and it amazes me how much they grow in one short year. I didn't paint dad this year....he was hidden away in a Mike Wazowski costume. The kiddos loved it. They had a really fun party with lots of sweet kiddos to paint. Thank you so much for inviting me to be part of the fun, Abby. It was a pleasure to see everyone again.

I found this sweet, Miss Fox, at Central Assembly of God in Haughton. Their family fall festival was held outside on the grounds and the kiddos had a fabulous time. Pastor Gravis, was the cake walk MC and I don't believe anyone went home without at least one confectionery prize. Thank you Pastor Tracy, and your team for a fantastic evening. Happy Fall!
