I service all kinds of events, including, Birthday's Church events, school musicals, Mardi Gras and more. Thank you for visiting my about page. My name is Sandy Kalnasy, and I have been a wife and mom for over 40 years. I home schooled my kids and loved every minute of it.... well, almost every minute. Once the kids all graduated, I was left with an empty and very lonely house. I took a myriad of

classes and volunteered for my favorite charities, but needed something more. One day, a friend invited me to go with her to a class on face painting. This sounded like fun and we could paint the kids at church during VBS. Little did I know this little adventure was going to quickly become a BIG adventure! I instantly fell in love with our instructor and she has become one of my dearest friends. And I fell in love with the smiles - Those beautiful, pure and totally enchanting smiles. Within a few months I was painting at Mardi Gras, then the Red River Revel and I haven't looked back. This gift from God has given me great joy and it's the smiles on children and adults alike that keep me painting. I'm not a spring chicken any more, so I do have to limit the number of hours that I book per week. But, If I am available, I would love to quote your event. I promise you will love the smiles, too! Savannah Place, hosted their annual fun fall festival with lots of activities for both the kiddos and adults. The artist in me loved the pumpkin painting station best. 🎨 🎃 ❤️
There were lots of cuties to paint, even a few that I've seen before. Thank you, Chelsea for including my services for your fun family night and for the Italian Ice. It was the perfect treat to end my day.

Mermaid Makeover, at the Shreveport Aquarium, was absolutely adorable! The place was swimming with the cutiest little mermaids ever! Each girl received her own mermaid name and a bag full of mermaid treasures. I made 6 sheets of tiny starfish bling for each girl and did a lot of speed painting to be sure they all felt like under the sea beauties. Crowns off to Morgan and Autumn for being the most charming hostesses. I totally enjoyed myself. Thank you, Karen for inviting me and also, for making my visit easy to setup. I appreciate you. And if you haven't visited the aquarium, your little fishes are missing a treat.

September, was Child Cancer Awareness Month and once again, I had the honor of spending some time with the precious kiddos and nurses at, St Judes Children's Research Hospital in Shreveport. This is one of my most treasured opportunities and I appreciate nurse Jana, and the rest of the staff who minister to these amazing children. The grace they have to still laugh and smile through some really hard days is very humbling.

Cypress Bend, had a fabulous turnout last night and perfect weather for, National Night Out! I especially enjoyed the live music and the relaxing atmosphere. Lots of kiddos and teens joined the face painting fun and kept me super busy. Unfortunately, I was not able to get any photos, save one young cutie who wanted a patriotic skull. Lol
Thank you so much for having me out, Sally. It was a pleasure working with all the sweet families.

What a treat to paint these ladies again! This year the theme was...you guessed! Cheetah! 17 beach babes enjoying an annual beach vacation together and a fun evening out. Purrrrfectly adorable!

The sweetest family celebrated the 1st birthday of their little man, in the Park. There was lots of food and fun. God surely blessed their day with cool temperatures and the rain cleared. It was perfect and I love it when not just the littles get their paint on. Thank you so much, Quintin. I enjoyed working with your bunch.

Miss Samantha, at the Youree Dr. Chick-fil-a, hosted a super fun Family Night for Back to School. I painted lots of kiddos excited to be in school again and a few first timers, as well. It was a happy evening with employees even joining in for the experience and a fun lovin' grandpa, too. 🥰

A Brighter Smile Dental Care, celebrated their employees fun day with a fabulous luau!
I spent the day painting all things tropical, Hawaiian and under the sea, with a few Spidermen and unicorns thrown in, of course. 😉
This was a really sweet and fun bunch of kiddos. I loved the camaraderie and how much everyone enjoyed the games and activities. I'll bet they are a great working office as well.

It's such an honor to be invited, year after year, to paint for Republic Services annual Truck Rodeo and family picnic. The challenging driving competition is a timed obstacle course. Imagine parallel parking a sanitation truck. lol There are some pretty talented drivers out there! Of course, the kiddos are my favorite!

Chic-fil-a, hosted one of my all time favorite events! A daddy/Daughter date night, complete with dancing. 🥰 My mommy heart was completely charmed. I wish every mom could have been peeking in on this precious event. Every single princess was treated like royalty by her daddy prince and the smiles lit up the night.

Rock Fest at BAFB was great fun! I teamed up with Becky and Sarah for this rocking event and between the three of us, we offered temporary glitter & ink tattoos, water resistant face paint and regular face painting. I stayed busy jumping between face painting and tattoos! It was like being home visiting with the military families and discussing the basses where we've been stationed. Thank you Cindy for inviting us to this great family fun night. We had a great time!

Day 2 of the Red River Balloon Rally, did not disappoint! It was a fabulous turnout and so wonderful to see lots of families, just having fun. Most popular faces were tigers and rainbow pup. I blew through 2 rainbow paint cakes!
