Gracing Faces by Sandy Kalnasy My name is Sandy, and I'm a professional face painting artist in North West Louisiana. I would love to be the face painter for your next event. Great Idea!

I service all kinds of events, including, Birthday's Church events, school musicals, Mardi Gras and more. Thank you for visiting my about page. My name is Sandy Kalnasy, and I have been a wife and mom for over 40 years. I home schooled my kids and loved every minute of it.... well, almost every minute. Once the kids all graduated, I was left with an empty and very lonely house. I took a myriad of

classes and volunteered for my favorite charities, but needed something more. One day, a friend invited me to go with her to a class on face painting. This sounded like fun and we could paint the kids at church during VBS. Little did I know this little adventure was going to quickly become a BIG adventure! I instantly fell in love with our instructor and she has become one of my dearest friends. And I fell in love with the smiles - Those beautiful, pure and totally enchanting smiles. Within a few months I was painting at Mardi Gras, then the Red River Revel and I haven't looked back. This gift from God has given me great joy and it's the smiles on children and adults alike that keep me painting. I'm not a spring chicken any more, so I do have to limit the number of hours that I book per week. But, If I am available, I would love to quote your event. I promise you will love the smiles, too! It was such an honor to be part of Camp I'm Still Me, a summer camp for children who are burn survivors.

Louisiana construction & Industry Asso. hosted their family fun day at Shreveport's beautiful aquarium with lots of fun fishy themed activities. I got to paint lots of roses on mom's and daughters. Thank you Sara, for taking good care of me. I enjoyed visiting with all the ladies.

Mrs Sarah, at Learning Express Toys of Shreveport, hosted the best summer fling. There were lots of activities and my favorite was watching the kiddos line dancing. I surely wish I had some of their stamina and energy!
The girls at this event surprised me by choosing custom arm designs. I'm pretty sure there were plenty of Tech and Ole Miss alumni in this crowd. 😉

I got to be a sub painter for Face Painting by Becky, at the Bossier City Farmers Market, today.
It was great visiting with the Bearden's and Capri the clown, on either side of me. It was also, so much fun to see all the familiar families who came out to enjoy the market.
I confess, though, it was really hard to stay put and paint, instead of shopping. 😉😎

A shout out to E-Z up! A few weeks ago my beautiful canopy had a little run in with some 60mph wind gusts. 80lbs of weights and she still went for a 100 yard slide! Several trusses were completely broken in two and others were bent beyond repair. I jumped on the phone with E-Z up and they walked me through the damage and parts needed to repair it. A couple of days later the parts arrived and my hubby had her looking good as new in 20 minutes. I was up and running just in time for all the Easter activities. Thank you E-Z up for a fabulous product, that I have never been disappointed in, and your wonderful customer service! Y'all the best! ❤️

Saturday, was a whirlwind! Our team speed-painted for several Easter events in the parish. I worked with 4 of our ladies at Cypress Baptist. We had a great time watching the kiddos pack in dozens of eggs! I also, got a sweet surprise when the little girl on my logo sat in my chair. She is so grown up, I didn't recognize her. 🥰
Ejay, and I then drove to the Boardwalk to join TheSimpleChurch.tv for their fun family event. Its been a wonderful Easter weekend and I appreciate all the congregations who invited us in to join their families in celebration of Resurrection Day! Happy Easter everyone! ❤️

Gateway Church, celebrated, Palm Sunday, with a fabulous carnival following Sunday morning's service. This fun event also included an Easter egg hunt. My first one of the season. The March winds forgot its April and was really kicking things up. However, the kiddos ran with it and enjoyed all the activities with 100% enthusiasm! Thank you Pastor Trae, for inviting me to be part of the celebration and for sharing your precious photos. I'll see you next year! 😉

A very special thank you to, Crystal, at Hamm Mechanical. She certainly outdid herself planning her company Family Fun Day! I was greeted with half a dozen helpers all there to quickly and easily setup my canopy and supplies for this fun day. Each family I had the opportunity to work with was a delight. The most popular boy design was the arm snake, but catching them for a photo was impossible. 😁 Still, I loved seeing them running around hissing at everyone. 😉 it was the perfect day to kick off our spring outdoor events.
