I was fortunate enough to participate in this years North Central Florist Association Design Competition at the MN State Fair. I received 2blue ribbons and a small plaque for placing in the Top 10 designs. There is roughly 50 professional florists all creating 2 designs. I'm very honored to have placed in the top 10 amongst some incredibly talented designers from all across MN and Western WI.

Took me tooo long to learn to create arch arrangements on site. This one is cool because it is adorned with antlers and I was able to arrange around and through them. So pretty!

This is so true. Places like FTD or 1-800-Flowers are killing the local Flower Shop. Call the local florist instead of using what is called an "order processor" in the industry.

A flower shop in Umatilla said online gift retailers have started taking a bigger chunk of money, leaving them with almost nothing to craft a bouquet.

Kenzie Wassman got married in St Augustine Florida. she had an amazing wedding reception in Forest Lake MN when they returned. The St Augustine Light house is one of the historic landmarks in St Augustine. We purchased wine from San Sabastian Winery in St Augustine and painted the wine bottles to match. We brought St Augustine to each table at her reception. $2 from each bottle purchased also gets donated to the St Augustine Lighthouse fund.

This was a first for me. I was so worried I forgot to take photos. Packaged a large box of flowers to fly as “checked baggage” from Minnesota to Florida. Bouquets, Corsages and boutonnières were created in Florida. Congratulations Kenzie Wassman and Blake for an amazing wedding weekend!!
