Bedtime or wedding sneak peek time?

Who could sleep when I’m holding on to these sweet images from last weekend! Amber and I instantly hit it off while working at the hospital last year. She is so beautiful inside and out, and quickly became one of my favorite smiling faces! And, I was thrilled when she asked if I would like to photograph her wedding. It was definitely one full of love and laughter. The best kind ❤️

Typically I don’t share this many photos from a wedding but I just love them all so much. I hope you all don’t mind 😉

My little cuh. We used to sit on the patio all hours of the night dreaming of The Big Apple and the fun we would have living there some day. Last weekend all her NYC dreams came true when she married the most beautiful bride under the Empire State Building surrounded by the coolest friends and family I’ve ever met. They had incredibly loving things to say about each bride and the love they’ve shared. It was a wedding to remember forever. Congrats, little cuh. And welcome to the family, Jill!!

Sometimes it’s just too hard to pick a favorite. Yesterday’s wedding was breathtaking at every corner but the planetarium was truly the icing on the cake. I haven’t photographed a more genuinely pleasant and loving couple in all my 11 years. I love their love 🪐

Oh, this beautiful wedding in the mountains!

Lindsay and I met 6 years ago in undergrad in an osteology class. Fast forward a year, and I had the great honor of hosting this lovely bride and groom for their first public appearance as a couple at my graduation party!

Lindsay and Justin’s wedding was as fun and lively as the two of them. Their love for one another shone not only in them but in all their family and friends as well. It was truly a perfect day!

Document Everything. be.

As a photographer, whether documentary, family, wedding, food, lifestyle, I find the best approach to capturing and understanding what I am shooting is simply to be. Be in the moment. I don’t hesitate to click the shutter. Photos can come out awkward, silly, out of focus, but they also come out beautiful, raw, inquisitive, momentous. You cannot print an experience you don’t photograph and I enjoy that brief ‘click’ of a camera more than any sound on earth. It means I’ve secured a moment in time to allow myself and others to experience and feel time and time again.
