Our Story
It all started with a guy named John DePrisco who combined his love for VW buses and photography to create The Photo Bus in 2012. We fell in love with the idea of owning a vintage bus and driving it down the streets to then park it anywhere and allow people to jump inside to capture a moment in life. So, we started this amazing project in El Paso, TX in summer of 2015.
But our hearts weren’t complete and we remembered always wanting to move to Austin because you know, Keep Austin Weird. We consider ourselves to be a very unique couple that loves adventures, good music, and doing things different so we packed our bags and anything that could fit inside our 1970 VW and drove 8 hours to Austin in March of 2016. Can you believe you can drive 8 hours and still be in Texas?!
And here we are. Loving this city more and more each day and loving even more all the happy memories that our photo booths are creating here.
