Want your business to be the top-listed Event Planning Service?
It all started back in 2001 when Ilona (half of our founding team) wanted to raise money for an animal shelter. She decided that she would face paint in order to do that. Afterwards she realized that she loved face painting, and she wanted to face paint for the tattoo shop she worked at; Then Ilona started giving people fake tattoos with face paint. The goal to put designs on the skin without pain, this also gave people the chance to see what their tattoo would look like before they got it. People loved my idea and soon there were lines to get painted. She couldn't believe how much people liked it.
Then Ilona moved and took a break from painting for about 3 years. But, in 2004 she picked it up again and she decided to face paint at a flea market. Ilona bought some business with her and she started face painting for events.
Ilona continued doing events every now and again until in 2006 when she was working in my town's local movie theater. She saw that the events and birthday parties there were plain. Ilona wanted them to pop and be special, so she started hosting the events at the theater. She would make it so would be lots of themed decor, games to play and a movie of course.
Then at an event in 2006 a woman named Rachel approached Ilona, she saw that Ilona's two girls had been face painted, Rachel explained to her that she face painted as well. The two of them immediately connected and together they started their small business called "Lollipop Party Services" and started having events every weekend.
