Who's ready for warmer days?

Personally, I prefer fall/winter, but as a florist, spring/summer are my favorite for obvious reasons. It is technically still "off season" for us wedding folks for sure. The wedding season is about to be in full swing for a lot of us. I'm just popping on the feed to say hello.

I'm excited about my upcoming trip to Italy. I just can't believe it's almost here. I've been looking forward to this trip not only because it's for work but Italy has been on my travel bucket list for a minute.

I consider myself to be a student who is constantly learning. Learning is very critical as a small business owner as it allows me to learn new skills and to deepen my expertise by investing in education to further my small business. I've always prioritized professional development, and over the years of running my business, I have invested so much time, money, and effort into learning. I strongly believe that learning is the key to success. I value any opportunity to learn from experts in my field. I'll be sharing more about my trip in the coming weeks. Happy Monday! Let's talk wedding flowers! Save for later.

At , our goal is to create a one-of-a-kind, magical experience that is a true testament to telling your story while also providing dreamy, romantic blooms with just a touch of wild, unexpected details.

We've been getting a ton of inquiries for wedding flowers for this year (and a few have started coming in for 2025). I wanted to share some tips on how to choose your wedding flowers and how much to allocate for your wedding flowers. There are a few ways to cut costs and still make a floral impact.

1. Hire a pro florist—you will not regret it. Book in advance! Get a florist as soon as you start the planning process. That way, you can secure your florist in time, and they can help your vision come to life.
2. opt for a partial arch design vs. full arch design.
3. go for a classic look of a cluster of florals with trailing greenery.
4. Pick flowers that bloom/are in season during the time of your wedding date.
5. Repurpose and re-use.

I recommend re-using florals from the ceremony for the reception (welcome arrangement from the ceremony can be repurposed to the bar, pieces from the ceremony altar repurposed to sweetheart or head table). This will ultimately cut down on overarching costs and waste.

A few of what the guests at Natalie and Mike’s wedding ate // swipe

The bride and groom opted for an interactive stationary display of cheese and charcuterie + passed apps—jumbo lump crab, bacon wrapped scallops, grilled marinated beef skewer to name a few. We also opted for a pre-plated salad course of apple and mixed baby greens. Wrapping out the reception course, the guests dined on a choice of filet mignon, salmon hollandaise or poulet Vouvray (oven roasted frenched breast of chicken) finished with a white wine sauce and roasted baby potatoes and caramelized carrots.

Wedding food and drink are essential elements of a memorable reception. Treating your guests to amazing bites and cocktails at cocktail hour and a decadent coursed meal at reception should leave them wanting more and talking about how great the food and drinks were at your wedding.

Which one would you choose?

It's your wedding, you get to do whatever you want! Trends are great and all, but you don't have to include any of it in your wedding design. Of course, if you'd like to throw in a couple of your favorite trends, a great planner or designer can help you make it happen. Trends should inspire you not make you feel FOMO. Instead of trends, think about creating experiences throughout your entire wedding week/weekend that will leave your guests gushing about your party for years to come. The only trends you should ever follow is to just have fun, be in the moment, and look for moments to truly connect and talk to your guests. They've traveled to come celebrate you, create memories, take a selfie, take shots, and do all the fun ordinary things. I find those are the things that bring extraordinary memories ✨️ If you did want to incorporate a trend for this year, I'd say bows, vintage style cakes, sustainability, vintage-style photography, flash photography, and my all-time favorite: color! I'm always going to be a sucker for couples who want to do their own thing. Personal autonomy will never go out of still!
