Some favorite moments from T+C’s wedding day. ✨

Every moment felt like a favorite. Every detail was beautiful. But if I had to choose, my favorite photo is the last one.

Tatum and Cameron, thank you for trusting us to be part of such a beautiful celebration.

Cheers to the Weidmans. 🤍

loved her when she’s so stoic & beautiful!

Did you know? Red amaranth can grow to 5–7 feet tall and produces long, plumed seed heads with dark, edible seeds.

Private executive dinner installation
Heartland Forward — The Ned DC

A beautiful design story to share from last week.

Last week, Heartland Forward reached out to design a private executive dinner at The Ned DC. Within days, our studio developed the concept, sourced materials, and completed the installation.

To anchor the palette, we grounded the table in mauve velvet — a strategic foundation that allowed layered pinks to unfold, deepened with burgundy, plum, and rich red for contrast and structure.

The king’s table featured sculptural, textural blooms — orchids, callas, cosmos, sweet peas, and protea — chosen for movement and depth. Deeper tones introduced weight and sophistication, keeping the palette refined rather than overtly soft.

Lighting was central to the design. Tapers, pillars, and votives were placed intentionally to create warmth, rhythm, and atmosphere while allowing conversation to flow naturally.

Floral moments extended beyond the table to cocktail arrangements and a sculptural bar installation, where layered greens and orchids introduced texture against the York Room’s lacquered walls.

Corporate gatherings often move quickly, but thoughtful design should never feel rushed. These are the moments our studio thrives in — shaping atmosphere, solving in real time, and creating something memorable within days.

Wildflower Hill Co. designs executive dinners, corporate gatherings, and hospitality events where atmosphere, discretion, and precision matter.

The studio lights are back on again. ✨

After almost a week of being sick and completely knocked out, I finally started feeling like myself again today. I designed this little arrangement last Wednesday just before everything went downhill — and I remember thinking how nice it felt to simply be in the studio playing with flowers again.

During the slower season in our industry, a lot of our time goes toward the behind-the-scenes work — organizing the studio, updating contracts and pricing, catching up on taxes, refreshing the website, and generally getting everything ready for the busy wedding season ahead.

But every once in a while, I try to step away from the computer and just make something. No agenda. No client brief. Just flowers and a little curiosity.

These purple freesia were left over from another design, and I started playing with their movement — letting them stretch and wander a bit. I loved how delicate and airy they felt, like the first hint of spring.

Feeling really grateful to be back on my feet today.

This week looks a little full — a doctor’s appointment for my little A, heading out of town for her volleyball tournament, and a design walkthrough for one of our May weddings — but honestly, it just feels good to be moving again.

Thank you to everyone who’s been so patient while I’ve been catching up on emails. I’m excited for March, excited for the season ahead, and excited to be back in the studio.

Spring is coming. 🌿

An empty room is never truly empty; it is a canvas waiting for intention. For this celebration, I approached the space architecturally, layering florals, candlelight, and refined styling to create depth, warmth, and quiet movement throughout the ballroom. Every element—from the placement of each stem to the measured rhythm of the taper flames—was considered to ensure the atmosphere felt seamless, immersive, and deeply personal. Our work lives in these details: the balance between softness and structure, the interplay of petal and flame, and the careful translation of a vision from mood board to lived experience. I see it as the art of atmosphere, thoughtfully considered, designed and delivered with care.
