There are countless reasons I love what I do, but building life-long relationships with my clients stands out. Yet, my favorite part of the planning process is finding the perfect vendors to bring my clients' visions to life.

One of my guiding principles is that in every relationship, 1+1>2. The sum of the parts is greater than what we would be as individuals.

With this in mind, when matching vendors to clients, I seek out not just those who can perform the task, but those who will harmonize with the clients, the other vendors, and the LJE Team.

Being an entrepreneur is literally the craziest thing I have ever experienced. Owning my business has given me the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. While it has been tremendously rewarding, it also has left me constantly wondering if I am doing enough. ⁠
⁠
Enough for my clients, enough networking, enough professional development, posting on social media enough, investing in my business enough (or too much), and yet I rarely took time to wonder if I am doing enough for me, was I building a life I wanted, was I taking care of myself? ⁠
⁠
I left the corporate life behind to build a life I wanted, one that made ME happy, WHILE making others happy. Over the past couple years, I've somehow lost sight of that. It's been a bit more about the hustle and less about the "why". ⁠
⁠
So, last weekend, I gave myself permission to relax and be present with my family - and man, it felt good! I am back from Colorado feeling rested, refreshed, more confident than ever in my "why" and ready for two amazing celebrations in the next two weeks.

Lots of big feelings this week, as it is a HUGE week for LJE, and I couldn't be more excited.

I started working with K & J just over a year ago to plan their destination wedding in Woodstock/Quechee, Vermont, and I couldn't be more proud of what we've created.

The vendor team is phenomenal. While each member is technically fantastic at their roles, what makes this team unique is their passion and excitement for THIS celebration and how we've collaborated to make K & J's unique vision a reality.

I am so grateful for their professionalism and friendship, and I can't wait to share BTS later this week. So, stay tuned!

* Favorite Flower: Tulips - they are so resilient! I also love lilacs, the smell brings me back to my childhood and my grandmothers backyard,

Styling your details is a beautiful and calming way to start. It gives me the chance to focus on the small, meaningful elements that will be part of your celebration.

Paying attention to intricate details like the rings, invitations, family heirlooms, and floral arrangements is very grounding and sets a positive tone for the rest of the day.

One of my all-time favorite intentional design decision - M asked her students to draw what love meant to them, and we used the drawings as the cutest table numbers.

Each sketch was a window into the innocent and heartfelt interpretations of love, adding a personal, and often humorous, touch to every table.
