The sneaks are in from S & A’s wedding at Long Hill, and they are absolutely magical. After fourteen weeks of rain, the sun finally came out, casting the most beautiful glow over their garden celebration.

Lush blooms, historic stone walls, and winding pathways created a timeless backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter, and quiet moments tucked away among the gardens.

This weekend, Mary and Alex are getting married after two years of planning together.

R&W exchanged vows on a stunning fall day at W's family owed children’s camp in Franklin, MA.

R did a meticulous job planning every detail of the wedding, including an abundance of personal touches, like the sweetest notes from her students that served as centerpieces for our cocktail tables.

Can you believe it’s already mid-June? Summer is in full swing, and with over 150 new friends joining the LeslieJames Events community recently, I thought it was the perfect moment to reintroduce myself.

Hi, I’m Kelly Boyle, owner and lead planner at LeslieJames Events. My journey here started in corporate finance, where I learned budgeting, project management, problem solving, and active listening — but what really defines me is my warmth, creativity empathy, and a sense of humor.

Throughout planning, I’m always saying, “I’ve got this” and “It always works out as it’s meant to.” I’m passionate about creating those unexpected, magical moments that make your celebration truly personal. Seeing a client’s vision come to life? That’s the best part — and yes, I get a little emotional every time!

The greatest joy? Building relationships with clients that last long after the big day.

One of the things I love most about this industry? The people.

This weekend, I have the honor of supporting two planners I deeply admire — women whose work I respect and whose values align so beautifully with my own. Helping bring their events to life gives me the chance to contribute to something special and support this incredible industry we’re all part of.

It’s also an opportunity to work in new spaces, observe different planning styles, and continue learning — something I never take for granted.

Every event makes me better at what I do. Every collaboration reminds me why I love this work.

I am often asked where the name “LeslieJames Events” comes from and I love sharing this story.

It’s named after my parents, Leslie and James.

They were the ultimate hosts, creating magic at every gathering, big or small. Whether it was two seatings at Thanksgiving (so everyone felt welcome), a teenage birthday dance floor glowing with luminaries, or simply English muffin pizzas on birthdays, they taught me that every moment was worth celebrating.

My mother, Leslie, is no longer with us, but her warmth and love for gathering people lives on in everything I do. She had a way of making everyone feel special.

My dad, James, (we joke) will celebrate anything, even a garage door opening! His Chinese New Year and Cinco de Mayo parties are legendary among his friends, and his love for creating community inspires me every day.

LeslieJames Events is more than a name. It’s a legacy — a promise to infuse every wedding I plan with heart, meaning, and unforgettable moments.
