Some venues just fit—like they were made for the couple. The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain was exactly that for T & S. Tucked away in the hills of New Hampshire, it felt like a hidden garden retreat, the perfect setting for their intimate, joyful celebration.

Everything about this day felt effortless and natural, from the lush surroundings to the florals that looked like they had been gathered straight from the gardens. It was romantic, inviting, and so perfectly them.

The venue should fit your budget. Not the other way around.

Before you fall in love with a venue, spend some time getting honest about two things: your budget and your guest count.

They will influence almost every decision that comes after.

It's easy to walk into a beautiful venue, picture your wedding day, and start mentally moving in.

Then reality shows up.

Maybe the venue comfortably seats 120 and your guest list is closer to 160. Or maybe the venue takes up a larger portion of the budget than expected, leaving less room for the photography, entertainment, florals, and guest experience that are equally important to you.

One of the biggest benefits of bringing a planner in before you start planning is having someone help you establish a realistic budget, pressure-test your guest count, compare venues apples-to-apples, and understand the true cost of the wedding you're envisioning.

The last thing you want is to end up "venue poor" and realize you no longer have the flexibility to create the experience you've imagined or stay within the budget you've established.

The goal isn't to find the most beautiful venue.

The goal is to find the right venue for your priorities, your guests, and your budget.

When A & T toured Willowdale, they were immediately captivated by the trees. There was something about the property that felt familiar, welcoming, and like home.

When it came time to design their wedding, we knew we didn't need to look far for inspiration.

The trees became the thread that tied everything together. They appeared as oversized illustrations on the invitation suite, inspired the organic floral design with pine cones tucked throughout, and even influenced the groom's custom green suit.

The most romantic weddings are often the ones that feel deeply connected to a place, a story, or a moment. For A & T, it was all three.

And the result felt like it belonged at Willowdale all along.

Signed before the ceremony, it serves as a lasting reminder of the promises made and the shared values that will guide their marriage.
