When our kids were young teens, they hunted our land adjacent to "Tao Acres", lovingly called "The Orchard" a name inherited from my husband's parents when they owned the land. The boys and some friends named their hunting group Team Apple Orchard a name that stuck with them over the years and has brought us many great stories and memories of this beautiful land and our kids. The name Tao Acres, b

rings together the spirit of living life in the outdoors so important to our family as well as the meaning of Tao; the way or the path, to provide a place for others to find and live their path too.

A little behind the 8-ball this year with our opening date, yet tomorrow is the big day. Here is to the 8th season. A little more to do before our guests arrive tomorrow- however, the views and peace of this property is quite special! We took a leap on this property in 2016 and have not looked back. Even though there is no rest for the wicked! 😂

The world around Tao Acres is waking up. A few short weeks and we will be back at it. Tika is spying the ducks 🦆. The birds and pond critters are making their beautiful sounds. Here is to season 8 ahead of us!
