Amber DeHart is one of the dedicated faces behind our portable sanitation services. As a Route Service Technician, she plays a vital role in keeping job sites, events, and communities clean and running smoothly.

⭐ Favorite part of the job:
Seeing real progress and knowing her work helps keep everything running smoothly for everyone.

🐾 Outside of work:
When she’s not on the route, Amber enjoys thrift shopping and volunteering at the animal shelter. She loves finding hidden gems and spending time helping animals whenever she can.

We’re proud to have team members like Amber who care just as much about the community as they do their work. 💪💙

Driver Spotlight ✨️

Each year the Portable Toilet Association International selects two drivers that represent the high standards of service, safety, dedication to the industry and have a history of going above and beyond at the companies they work for. Bobby Fitts of Porta Serve was the runner up this year. Bobby has over 30 years of service in the industry, has a spotless CDL driving record, is always willing to go the extra mile and we are very proud to have him on the Porta Serve team and see him recognized with this national honor.

🚽 Toilet Talk Tuesday-The history of deodorizers

The history of deodorizers in the portable sanitation industry dates back to World War II, when temporary restrooms were first used for shipbuilders. Early operators relied on cleaners like Pine-Sol and Lysol, but over time, specialized companies developed safer and more effective formulas. By the late 1970s, non-formaldehyde deodorizers became the industry standard, promoting cleaner and eco-friendly sanitation. Today, we continue that tradition of excellence by using Walex Porta Pak Max, a non-formaldehyde deodorizer, in all our tanks—ensuring best practices, superior quality, and a fresh experience at every site. 🌿✨
