I honestly don’t know what to say. I haven’t been this sad in a long time. Yesterday, the balloon industry lost one of its brightest, sweetest, and most talented artists, and I lost a dear friend and mentor. From the first day we met, he welcomed me with open arms, sharing his resources, his husband, friends, and balloon family with me. They all treated me like family from the start. I have so many beautiful memories of my time in Chicago, but those visits will always feel a little emptier without you there. Thank you for everything, Tommy. I’m going to miss you so much.
