Final event this weekend was so much fun! For the Royal Family Kids-Hastings NE and TRAC Central NE dessert auction last year I donated a 4 course meal for 10 people! Tonight’s menu started with a charcuterie board, summer salad, braised short ribs with potatoes and bacon green beans, followed by turtle cheesecake from Katie Lamoree! Such a fun evening and good food and company!

I’m so thankful for my friends and family that help me out! Not pictured Nathan who had to go take care of the pups, but I could not do this without them! And of course reppin’ our shirts from The Mommy Hanger

This Thursday I will be having a pop-up restaurant for lunch and supper at the 4th Street Coffee House for Bike Ride Across Nebraska as they come through Stromsburg! I'm still working out some logistics of ordering at the coffeehouse and pick up but please come by and support us! (also menu is subject to change as I start to go shopping....)

It’s been an amazing week out at camp! I’m so thankful to be called to such an amazing ministry and use the gifts God has given me to help bless these kiddos and the staff!

As I’m getting back to normal life please be patient as I’m getting quotes out to everyone and booking events!

I’m thankful for amazing friends who help me out with this business. Tonight I made up all of the elements for this welcome party for a wedding in Lincoln and had some helpers get it to Lincoln and set up while I went to rehearsal of a wedding I’m in tomorrow and finished up my other catering event for the night!

Memorial Day is this weekend! We do leave for camp on Sunday so I’m not able to offer much for Memorial Day. However if you would be interested I have time to make up 10 of these veggie trays with dip on the side. They will need to be picked up on Saturday during coffeeshop hours. It’s been a crazy few weeks and a crazy few weeks to come! I am beyond blessed by everyone and all of the business! When I started I never thought I would be able to be successful let alone how busy this would keep me! Thank you for trusting me with your gatherings and events!

As it gets closer to camp (21 days until the first camp) I might not be as reachable. Please be patient as camp comes before basicaly everything else. I will respond as I can! The best way to get ahold of me is Facebook messenger.

Today is the day for one of the biggest fundraisers we participate in and the one that I get the most competitive with. Give Hastings Day is underway for a few more hours! I’d like to share a story about Thomas. Friday morning at registration, Thomas walks in the door with a Walmart bag that had a brown tint to it. When we asked for his luggage, he put his head down and handed us his Walmart bag. The look of shame and embarrassment on his face broke my heart.

Children who have experienced abuse and neglect might not have simple things that we take for granted. When moving home to home, their belongings (if they are allowed to take with them) get thrown into a trash bag taking away their dignity.

The good news is that YOU can help!!
