To say our co-main event of the evening delivered would be an understatement!
Xtreme Couture fighter Chloe Becker and SBG Idaho jiu jitsu brown belt Charyl Rush gave the fans 3 rounds of action in a bout that highlighted both of their well rounded skillsets and top-notch conditioning.
Both of these women dug deep as they navigated the fast paced striking exchanges along with the onslaught of submission attempts and ground’n pound when the fight hit the mat.

In an exciting light heavyweight slugfest the seasoned Scott Devlin known for his gameness and extensive competitive experience, faced off against a promising young striker eager for his first mixed martial arts victory in Legacy MMA fighter Marco Benavidez Jr!

Levi Nanney vs Lance Taylor 160 MMA
What a battle!!
Lance Taylor is a lifelong Kajukenbo practitioner who’s grown up in his fathers’ dojo, sharpening his skillset in competition across the point fighting scene and kickboxing matches as a kid.
Levi Nanney is a strong willed grappler out of Legacy MMA with a love for extreme sports. A passion that would see him test his hand at several adrenaline fueled endeavors such as snowboarding and bull riding.
Each of these men had a lifelong goal that hadn’t been achieved yet though, making their Mixed Martial Arts debut….And what a debut they made!
This fight was 3 rounds of action that saw every facet of mixed martial arts on display! Heavy handed punches, dynamic kicks, huge takedowns, onslaughts of ground’n pound, submission attempts and positional reversals from both sides!
Despite the grueling pace, neither fighter showed any signs of backing down, embodying the true spirit of a warrior. This fight was a testament to the dedication and hard work these athletes put into their training, and it was an absolute pleasure to witness such a high level of competition in the amateur ranks. Let alone from two debuting fighters.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two!

When this matchup was booked we had a feeling that Team No Excuse fighter Taylor Copeland and the returning Dosamn Liam from Family Boxing and Fitness in Twin Falls were going to be a great test for one another. A challenge that would cause both competitors to grow win, lesson or draw!
What we didn’t foresee was just how much of a grappling chess match this bout would be!
This fight had it all on the mat! Big takedowns, slick submission attempts from both sides, evasive submission escapes, slams and plenty of ground and pound!

Regardless of who came out on top we’d like to thank both of these gargantuan martial artists for getting in there and throwing with bad intentions from the opening bell.
We hope to see both of them on future events!
Hilario Medina vs Eliú Tellez 145lbs
It’s admittedly rare to see one Kajukenbo team featured on an MMA card. Let alone a Kajukenbo vs Kajukenbo matchup!
However we were fortunate enough to see just that when two exciting fighters out of Red Dragon Kajukenbo in Nampa and Taylor Kajukenbo Academy in Boise met for our opening bout of the evening.

That being said, we had no clue that this battle of debuting grapplers would turn into 3 rounds of fast paced striking action! 170lbs MMA
In a great example of a well executed game plan leading to a victorious debut, we saw Kajukembo practitioner Elliott McAbee face a skyscraper of a Welterweight in 6’1 Serbian striker Nikola Privol. Elliott did a great job closing distance and showing his Kajukembo to be very effective on the ground!

Jake Mendenhall vs Beris Callender
Jake Mendenhall vs Beris Callender
Heavyweight MMA
It’s always a treat for the fans when two top ranked regional talents are willing to take a challenging fight against one another! This collision between two thus far undefeated heavyweights was no different. Jake and Beris both brought heavyweight power that would register on the Richter scale, and when men that size are swinging with 4oz gloves and bad intentions there’s 0 room for error. Everyone at Revolution Cage Combat was impressed by both mens’ performances and we look forward to seeing each of their next bouts inside the RCC cage!
Chuck Page vs Scott Devlin
Chuck Page vs Scott Devlin
Catchweight MMA
Thank you to both men for their willingness to get in there and test their skills- Chuck facing a man with 10 bouts in his debut and Scott for facing a big athletic blackbelt that no one wanted any part of.
When our matchmaker put out the word that there was a 6’5 jiu jitsu blackbelt looking to debut in MMA no one would step to the plate. From one coast to the next, guys with title belts and 20lbs weight advantages didn’t want this fight! But one man did. Perpetually proving himself as tough as they come and a true fighter who’s never afraid of a challenging opponent- Scott Devlin answered that call when top ranked heavyweights wouldn’t. Regardless of the outcome, you’re both awesome competitors and we at RCC look forward to seeing future outings!
