ifica Magazine. Her writing has also appeared in the New York Press, Daily Sparks Tribune, Reno Passport Magazine and others. She’s produced videos for Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, Council of International Schools, K-ART News and Academy of Art University. Her videography has aired on CBS Eye on the Bay. Her weekly photo column “Street Seen” appeared in the New York Press. She was awarded 2007 Photographer of the Year by the New York Press Association for her work as the Chief Photographer/Photo Editor for TimesLedger Newspapers in Queens, NY. She was awarded 2015 Best Feature Photo, First Place, by the California Newspaper Publishers Association for her work as the Staff Photographer for the Half Moon Bay Review, where the newspaper also won First Place for General Excellence that same year. She grew up in New Hampshire, earned a BA degree in English from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2002, and completed a MA degree in Multimedia Communications from Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2011 where she was honored as Best Graduate Producer by the department. She lives in South Burlington, Vermont, with her husband, Ross Sheehan, daughter, Remy, and son, Bo.
