This late March arrangement from last year is one of my favorites, namely because we grew every stem in it!

Spring is my favorite season on our property—with abundant bluebells, redbuds and now specialty collections of hellebore, narcissus and fritillaries.

Looking at this photo, it’s a reminder that spring is around the corner—even if we are in the thick of winter right now!

Hi! I’m Dana, the owner and designer at CLEMENTINE—a cottage florist and design studio in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

🌼 We specialize in garden-inspired florals with seasonal ingredients. All our flowers are locally and American grown.

🌼 We offer wedding services for Southeast Missouri, the Saint Louis area, Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky.

🌼 Crafting bouquets for delivery, wedding flowers, holiday decor—our hope is to provide you with artistic and intentional designs, no matter the occasion.

🌼 We began our cut flower garden in fall 2017. When we bought our property in 2016, I had dreams of foraging, but growing flowers felt so daunting! So glad we decided to jump in and give it a go anyway.

🌼 Perennials excite me more than annuals. I adore flowering branches—I have big plans to add lots more gorgeous shrubs this growing season. Self-seeding flowers and plants that naturalize are also at the top of my list!

🌼 2025 is the year of the newsletter! We already sent our first one out to subscribers last week and hope to do so bi-weekly the entire year. I’ll be writing to you like a pen pal, including lots of garden photos and CLEMENTINE happenings. Does that sound good to you? Head over to our website and enter your email in our subscribe box!

Loved this color palette at .stl last June.

Norah and Nick already had such lovely ideas when they reached out to me during their planning process—it was so fun creating colorful florals for their one-of-a-kind celebration!

Winter isn’t very colorful here, but I’m so glad to have such beautiful weddings to look back on ✨

Way back in Spring 2021, we harvested our very first specialty tulips from the hundreds of bulbs we planted the previous fall. Somehow, with a two year old, I managed to take some pretty photos of them!

This spring we will have pretty, classic and a few funky varieties to share with you! We recommend signing up for our newsletter on our website to be the first to know about spring bouquets and the return of our seasonal flower delivery service (scroll all the way to the bottom!) 🌷

Indoor paperwhite garden—always a favorite in-between Christmas and New Year’s look.

Paperwhites are kind of like asparagus and cilantro. The experience is different person to person! Regardless of what our noses are telling us, all that gorgeous green foliage and delicate star-like blooms are a feast for the eyes this time of year✨

I like to extend our home’s paperwhite season into the new year so we can enjoy fresh flowers on our January birthdays. Paperwhite bulbs at all growth stages can be found sprinkled around our house every winter. It feels like a little luxury to grow these when the Midwest landscape is hibernating.

Thank you to everyone who has already purchased a paperwhite centerpiece from us this year! We still have some beauties available at . These will be available for purchase until Saturday, December 21st (or until they sell out).

We are accepting payment by card on-site at Red Banner throughout the holiday season. Each centerpiece has a unique QR code through Square. Please show proof of purchase to Katie or Robbie Britt before taking your paperwhite centerpiece out the door.

Once you have your paperwhite centerpiece, we recommend placing it in the sunniest spot in your home for growth. Since we have potted our bulbs a little differently this year, we recommend being conservative with your watering as the soil will hold moisture close to the bulbs and excessive water will result in bulb and root rot. The best part is, after these paperwhite bulbs are done flowering, you can repot them in a garden container with drainage holes and save them for next year!

Please note that paperwhite bulbs, flowers and foliage are toxic to humans and animals. We ask that you keep your centerpiece out of reach of curious pets and children.

You can’t go wrong with magnolia, nigella pods and orange slices together for wreath season.

We’ve been making a version of our Blessing wreath for the past three or four years, but I always try to make it unique in the details. Love how this one turned out with the added gold velvet bow.

Thankful for family and friends that let me collect ingredients from their properties! Noble fir grown in Oregon sourced from

We are so grateful for all the wonderful wreath orders we received this holiday season. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Extra textural with lots of details is our favorite yuletide style. Looking forward to fulfilling our last couple of orders tomorrow. Then I get to decorate my little historic home with fresh wreaths, garlands and bows all around!

All of our vessels are vintage and hand-picked by me, Dana. Truth be told, I only source vessels that I would be happy to receive—needless to say, I’m pretty picky. A few of our vessels have repairs, small chips and other little imperfections. We appreciate the philosophy of wabi-sabi and enjoy giving these old containers a fresh purpose. We hope you find one you love this year!

Thankful doesn’t even begin to capture the deep gratitude I have for the wonderful community that continues to support CLEMENTINE.

We are approaching nine years of floristry in Southeast Missouri (it will be officially nine years in March)…and every single order I’ve fulfilled has meant the world to me. Daily deliveries, custom projects, homecoming and prom, holiday decor, bereavement and weddings—we are grateful for the opportunity to share our garden-inspired flowers with you, no matter your season of life.

I also want to thank my family and friends for the biggest support of all—listening to my worries, brainstorming ideas, encouraging words, proofreading, the list goes on and on. CLEMENTINE certainly would not be what it is today without you.

Sending you peace and love…this weekend and always.
