As many of you know, the Dam Store was torn down yesterday to ensure it did not end up in the Blue Earth River. It was a sad day.

Rapidan Dam before (2014) and after (2024). I tried to match clips I took in June of 2014 as best I can. I noticed after 10 years of flying, the cameras and equipment are much better and hopefully, I have become much better at flying and camera work.
Slowmotion shot of Rapidan Dam, June 25th 2024
Getting up before sunrise to capture what fate the night may have brought to the Rapidan Dam. It looks still intact, water is obviously flowing around the west side. It appears to have carved down to the bedrock. You can see layers of blue earth (Where this Blue Earth river gets it's name) in some of the new formations.
