New table top just finished! 10’ long and about 35” wide. This tabletop fits on top of a 8’ folding table. We added a linen underneath to finish it. Would work great for a big dessert table or a food table. If you sit it on top of 2 whiskey barrels it would make an awesome bar. We will be making at least 2 more.

What we’ve been up to the last several days! 4 - 20x20 tents set together to create a 40 x 40 space with sides and ceiling draping in all 4 tents. We also created and provided a special lighting installation. In addition to the reception tents we set up 2 - 20 x 20 ceremony tents with arbor. D’z handled all the rentals and decor setup on this one and then handed it over for the other vendors to do their magic. A fun (but very labor intensive) one to handle for Jim and Brenda.

“Here comes the Son” Recent boho baby shower for my son and daughter in law. No pics until Tyler and Destanie announced Aiden’s arrival per their request. Destanie chose the style, and her mom, my other daughter in law Cambria and I had fun with it!

Playing in the showroom today. New copper arbor dressed with fabrics and florals, macramé backdrop with sweetheart table and a floral swag on chair, and draped half round table which is perfect for sweetheart or cake.

Four tents we set up Thursday for a sweet couple here in McAlester. The alcove they were set up in was beautiful. Mom and Dad had been working for months to make this park like setting perfect!

Loading up after setting up 4 tents. Guttering inside to keep out rain and full window sides all around. A lot of work but the customer was pleased. That’s what we aim for!

We set these tents up Wednesday. They were originally supposed to be set up yesterday. (Friday) I knew because of the wind that couldn’t happen. Had I known the wind was going to be that ferocious we would probably have cancelled the order. They were still standing when we went to take them down last night but we did go back multiple times yesterday checking on them. There was some damage to straps but I consider that minimal damage considering the wind these tents sustained. Thankful.

First garden chair clean for 2023 wedding season. Just 300 or so to go plus the 1000 other chairs to get ready too. Wedding season 2023 has begun!

Fields and Plunkett wedding at Downtown 312. D’z provided rentals and decorated space. Valerie with McAlester Grazing came in a little while later and provided centerpieces and food. Congratulations Rachel and Chris!

MRHC’s Employee Appreciation banquet last Saturday. D’z had the honor of decorating. The “stars” of MRHC walked the red carpet into the banquet. Thank you MRHC for choosing D’z to handle this for you!

How pretty is this?! We were asked if we might add some more rustic columns into inventory. Our guys built, we then sanded, stained and sealed them. This is the result. Absolutely beautiful with the flowers added by Bobbye Carter and set up at The Pointe.

D’z provided and setup some backdrops and an arbor at the Country Club recently for a Halloween wedding. The brides sister and mom added flowers to the arbor and placed decor items. A little different than our usual setups but a fun one!
