I met M&M (photo 1 - ) at A&A’s (photo 2 - ) wedding. At A&A’s wedding I offered my services to M&M. They told me they already had a ✨secret✨ courthouse date set. I told them to cancel 🤷🏻‍♀️ Fast forward about a month and a half and we were scheduling a ceremony for M&M for the following weekend. I love how everything worked out and how I got to see familiar faces! Photo 3 is me as a proud mother hen with M&M and A&A ( )

It’s a new year so allow me to reintroduce myself!

I’m Carly Curry, owner of Curry Up and Get Married. When you contact Curry Up and Get Married, you’re chatting with me! When you hire Curry Up and Get Married, you’re hiring me! Officiating has quickly turned into my favorite way to meet people. From a simple license signing to a large wedding ceremony, getting to know my couples is incredibly important to me.

It might be important for you to know your officiant as well. Here are some fun facts:
* I’m a twin mom to almost two year olds - they’re my everything (even if they are little gremlins right now 😂)
* When I got married, we did NOT hire a professional officiant *gasp*
* My husband is a public school Assistant Principal and the head wrestling coach (not really a fun fact about me, but I’m proud of him and we’re married, so it counts… right?)
* I teach contemporary and jazz dance once a week!
* I am a former public school educator - I taught third grade and I loved it (I stopped to be a stay-at-home mom to the above mentioned twins)
* I love to travel - my last trip was to Egypt!
* The last book I read was Where the Crawdads Sing (I loved the book, the movie was not my favorite) - the next book on deck is What My Bones Know: A Memoir of Healing from Complex Trauma (I’m sure it’ll be super light and upbeat)
* In college my best friend and I owned a hedgehog named Sheldon
* I graduated from WMU - go BRONCOS!
* In no particular order, I love fall, coffee, purple, carbs, the sun, and cows (specifically highlanders, yaks are cool too)
* In 2024 I officiated 36 ceremonies 🤩

My first marriage of 2025 was at Frederik Meijer Gardens and it was so beautiful. The couple was just as amazing as the location 🤩

Hi all!! As we get closer to 2025, my prices will be changing. These prices will be in effect starting November 1st for 2025 bookings. 2024 prices will stay the same for 2024 bookings.

Here are some changes: Elopements (now $200) will be $250. Wedding ceremonies (now $250) will be $350 and will include the rehearsal in this price instead of it being an additional price.

I'm also offering a new service: Assistance Officiating - this is for anyone tasked with officiating that doesn't know where to start. Start with me! The price will depend on how much assistance is needed, but will start at $50. I can provide resources, script help, unity ceremony assistance, and rehearsals. I think it's beautiful when a friend or family member wants to officiate, but it's even more beautiful when they feel confident in what they're doing!

I love getting photos back from couples. We share an amazing moment of celebration together and I truly feel connected to them, especially this wedding. M&H had such great senses of humor and were funny without even trying. It was an amazing wedding that M would describe as being between “two brides (lesbians)” - thank goodness for the clarification 😂

Like I said in A&T’s ceremony: they have a love story for the ages. They first met in the late seventies, went different ways, then reconnected 35 years later. I was extremely jazzed for them, if you can’t tell
