🥂A magical and treasured moment happens in the wee hours of the morning. In the silence and peacefulness of the studio I design the bridal bouquet. Sometimes it is at 5:00 am, sometimes 3:00 am, always witnessing the sun greeting the dream day. It is typically the last thing I create. A magical moment-when all of the “getting to know a bride’s story” has been listened to & notes in the margins taken. Her story as a girl growing up and the woman she is now-about to marry. How they met and how they plan to share their lives. A treasured moment connecting with her, adding those moments of a favorite childhood flower, mother’s fabric rose from her bridal gown, great grandmother’s handkerchief, a tiny jewelry vase with sand from a favorite beach. Entwined amongst a floral design celebrating their florals & color palette. A telling of a wedding floral story.
🥂A bride will revisit their day through the years. Opening albums, glancing at framed photos or sharing their wedding day story with their children.

🌿The behind the scenes when you receive flowers as a gift or purchase for yourself is that there is a lot of care placed for longevity.
🌿BFF’s Job:
• As a local business—we choose the freshest/healthiest flowers & greens available to design with.
• During the growing season many are grown on our property as well as partner with other local growers.
Also, with many years in the industry we have wonderful relationships with our vendors at the flower market for year round offerings.
• Each stem is conditioned and properly stored in “Betty” our temperature controlled flower cooler.
•Clean buckets, tools mechanic’s & vessels snip bacteria in the bud.
🌿Your Job:
• Change your arrangement water-every day if possible.
• Display away from direct sun or heat source.
•Remove the stems that are wilting and when you get down to a few stems-move to a bud vase & place near your sink or bed side.

🌿 Personal florals & layered design details for this delightful wedding of A & N write a magical chapter.
🌿 This Wedding Floral Story was greenery forward with Italian Ruscus, Plumosa, Pittosporum, Dusty Miller & Smilax. Tonally layered with Hawaiian orchids, stunning local roses that picked up a subtle repeated tone of dusty lavender, local Lisianthus, our own BFF hydrangeas & snapdragons. A last minute addition of local Japanese anemone in its most charming moment, was a delightful design surprise.
