I didn’t start out wanting to be a photographer, but I always loved taking pictures and capturing special moments. My journey all started when we began raising Boxers. I needed a camera that would enable me to take really good pictures of the puppies because we sell most of them online. But that wasn’t the only reason, we also have 4 children who were all going to be graduating in a 2, yes I said 2, year span. Everyone knows how expensive that can be. So I decided to actually learn how to use my camera. There were many hours spent researching and then practicing what I researched. Of course I used my kids to practice on, good thing they were good sports about it! Then one Sunday after service at church, my wonderful husband mentioned to our pastor that I could take pictures. He told me that I was welcome to take pictures at church whenever I wanted. I eventually became a part of the church’s photography team. As more and more people saw my work they began asking me to take their pictures. So here we are today. I named my business Touched by Grace because it is only by the Grace of God that I am able to do what I do. He has blessed me with knowledge, skills, and drive to be the best I can possibly be. And I want to use what He has given me to bless others! I want to help make lasting memories and capture special moments that will be cherished always.
