Bulls Bay OYRO is dedicated to sharing our passion for preserving the traditions that surround the Charleston area's waterways. Drawing from a family heritage in the Lowcountry that dates back for over 300 years, we believe that the most delicious oysters in the world come from the local waters of Bulls Bay. And we know that the best way to enjoy these salty delights is to roast them over a fire a

nd share them with great family and friends! Today, most oyster roasts are truly oyster "steams" as the more traditional cooking method is often set aside and replaced by the steamer pots that many find to be more convenient. With Bulls Bay OYRO, you can enjoy the age old method of roasting that has been used for generations without any of the hard work. Our crew will take care of everything, from cooking to cleanup. We work with local oyster suppliers to get the freshest Bulls Bay Oysters. We then provide everything from custom built wood-fired cookers, to tables, knives, and shell collection. We are committed to delivering the Authentic Lowcountry Oyster Roast experience for you and your guests.

People often ask, "What else can I cook besides oysters on my OYRO Cooker?." The OYRO Test Kitchen aims to answer that question. Let us know what you think and please provide pointers and suggestions! We hope the Test Kitchen inspires you to get creative with your OYRO Cooker.

For our second challenge, we cooked Surf (clams, shrimp, scallops, and snapper) and Turf (grass fed NY strip and fresh spicy Italian sausages). We also threw a few mushrooms on at the last minute. We were not sorry.
