We just donated our unused glasses for people in Africa and Latin America to use when an eclipse goes over their heads in October.

TODAY, April 8, is the BIG day! The total solar eclipse will be happening right over Arcadia Valley!

The total solar eclipse begins around noon, get your viewers out! TOTALITY is at 1:57pm. 🌞🌝

The "Blinded by the Light" in Arcadia Valley event ramps back up at 10am and runs until 4pm. Be sure to enjoy food trucks, vendor fair, DJ, Balloon Artist, educational opportunities with MO State Parks, historical tours of the Iron County Courthouse, Mongo Rides, beer gardens and more!

Bring CASH as parking and shuttles are cash only. Cell towers will likely be overloaded making it difficult to use credit cards with vendors. Cash always works.

Stick around after totality to let the traffic die down. Live music and events around town continue!

There are THREE parking lots that are fundraisers for our local youth organizations! Support them today by parking in the following parking lots:

Red: Middle School Baseball
Orange: FFA
Yellow: TCHoops AAU team

Only $5 per car and 100% of the parking fees collected will go their organization. 👍

Follow the posted signs for parking.

There is a shuttle from each lot that will take you to different event locations throughout Ironton, Arcadia and Pilot K**b.

Start playing around on the interactive map to get an idea of where everything will be during the event! Use the collapsable menu on the right to decide what to see or not see. There are A LOT of layers so you can see it all, or just the shuttle route, for example. Select parking lots only, or maybe you're excited to find out where the food trucks will be. 🚲🚲🚲Plan to bring your kids to the Kid's Bicycle Safety Program, sponsored by Missouri State Parks on Sunday, April 7th from noon - 2pm, in the Courthouse Square!

Kids’ skills will be tested on a bicycle safety course and, upon passing, they will be awarded their own personalized Missouri State Park Rangers driver’s license. How cool is that?! The kids are always excited to get their license.

📣The first 20 kids to test will get a free helmet - so first come first served!

Kids can bring their bike for a safety check and to use it in the safety course; or one can borrow one from the park. Toddlers with tricycles are welcome as well.

There are two bikes being given away between 2-3pm, everyone who runs the test course will be entered to win. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN
