The Demonstration of Faith

Over the years I have heard many teachings on faith. Some good,and some not so good. I have heard folks so focused on their words, that they let their living their faith go. Yet I have learned, through study and much meditation on the subject of Faith, that my living and my speaking must line up and come into agreement with the Word of God.

Let's Study for a moment the following Scripture.
25. And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26. And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27. When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29.And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
Mark 5 :25-29

Note the following:
1. She had heard of Jesus
2. She had said: Luke's account teaches us She said to herself. If I may touch the Hem of His Garment, I will be made whole.
3. She went to where Jesus was and acted upon what she believed, what she had said
4. She was healed.

Most of us hear the Word and talk of faith, yet we don't put much stock into what we say we believe, because we are not prepared to act upon it. This woman could have talked about faith all day long, and that's all she would have: TALK.

But praise God, her beliefs went beyond talking. She got up and went. When the obstacles arose she dropped to her knees and dove into action. Too many want to dive into excuses or more talking. But the man or woman acting in faith, walking in faith, dives into action.

Are you full of words, or are you prepared to act upon what you say you believe? Faith requires Action, not just reaction. We WALK (action) by faith, not by sight.
