Growing up in Canada we would refer to today as, "Remembrance Day". We would often rehearse and perform in special programs surrounding today while wearing a poppy.

The poppy signifies an enduring symbol of WWI. This flower also inspired Dr John McCrae to write the poem, "In Flander's Fields".

We are grateful for our veterans and their sacrifice for us.

We still have time this month to impact some people who are in the fight of their lives!

30% of all sales and 100% of all donations will go directly to them.

While many choose to wear pink as a way to show their support, the month of October hits me differently as I personally know some people who are battling breast cancer, one of them being a male.

So, I have decided to take this month to lend my support in a slightly different way this year. During the month of October, I will be donating 30% of ALL my sales towards those in the fight. But I want to be very specific. I won’t just be donating to a charity. I will be donating these funds directly to 2 friends who are currently receiving treatment and have mounting medical bills.

There are many ways that you can help me bless these individuals:
1) Place an order. Whether you are local to the Cincinnati/Dayton area or you purchase from my online store, both of these methods will result in a 30% donation.

2) Consider making a donation towards these individuals. Should you choose to make a donation, 100% of that donation will be sent to them.

3) Share this announcement and flyer and join Make it Mandy in helping to bless these 2 individuals!

Fall is my favorite season for so many reasons and as much as love the heat of summer, I'm most definitely a sweater weather gyal (lol).
