The United States Chose Trump.
This is America.
America didn’t want Kamala Harris - her positive outlook, her appeal for unity, her serious and more professional political skills.
Biden’s election was a moment.
Chalk it up to COVID-19.
Chalk it up to Black voters motivated by the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Aubrey.
Chalk it up to whatever.
But Trump is what America is really is.
Trump is what America wants.
Racism doesn’t matter.
Sexism doesn’t matter.
Homophobia doesn’t matter.
Anti-immigrant doesn’t matter.
Trump is going to win the electoral college vote, and clinch the presidency.
But he’s also going to win the popular vote, being the 1st Republican to do it since George W. Bush in 2004, who only did that because of the high level of support Bush got after 9/11 and the War in Afghanistan and the War in Iraq.
With 34 convictions and over 90 indictments, and two impeachments, America chose Trump.
The voters weren’t unaware.
The voters weren’t tricked.
The voters know who and what Trump is.
And they chose him.
He will initiate Project 2025, even if he calls it something else.
He said he wants people who are loyal to him.
So no one should be surprised when he only appoints people who swear allegiance to him, not loyalty to America or the Constitution.
No one should be surprised when he removes career civil service workers and replace them with sycophants.
He promised to get rid of the Department of Education, which is responsible for supplying billions of dollars for school lunches and special education services.
No one should be surprised when they have to say Goodbye to free lunch at schools.
He promised he would give immunity to abusive police officers.
So prepare for some long, hot summers.
He promised to pardon all of the Jan. 6th rioters.
So Stand By and Stand Back Proud Boys.
He promised he’d go after his political enemies and critics.
So don’t be surprised when the Justice Dept. is investigating all of the prosecutors, judges, FBI, and police detectives, who’ve charged, prosecuted, and convicted him.
Don’t be surprised if they come for Kamala.
He promised to change the laws regarding how the media reports about the President.
So no one should be surprised when he deals with the media that reports negatively about him.
He will use his presidential power to go after anyone who investigates him.
And thanks to the Supreme Court, nobody will stop him.
The Republican Majority Senate and the Republican Majority House will do what the conservative Democratics blocked the Democrats from doing - they will get rid of the filibuster.
And, like he said, he will govern like a dictator, but for more than just one day.
There’s nothing to restrain him now.
And that’s what America wanted.
