From City Scape Winery: "At 5:30pm Spencer Rush kicks off the evening with live music! Spencer, both edgy and cool, has a velvety voice with incredible range – taking the best of his musical influences, like Elton John, The Police, and Pink Floyd – to create a sound that’s unique, yet utterly universal. The One Love Fusion food truck will also be onsite serving up twists on global flavors combined with local favorites! You can come in without a reservation and enjoy wine by the glass, bottle or even a wine flight!
If you are interested in doing a tasting we would encourage a reservation for one of our wine tastings or take a look at our Wacky Wine Tasting experience for the evening! We are pairing our wines with some of your favorite candies to elevate your candy stash in a whole new way."

Hey, ! Hope you're all having a beautiful weekend! We just wanted to thank you all for being such a compassionate and generous community. There's so much need here in the Upstate and across our NW border, and y'all have showed up. Has it not just been an amazing thing to see all our differences fade away as we tackle what was most important together?

It's been a busy week for us, and so many others who have been on the move to help our neighbors, both locally and in WNC. It's been beyond amazing to see such unity across the Upstate and even across our country, as people pulled together their resources to help those in need. Never have we seen or been part of such a large group of people coming together for one sole purpose.
We wanted to update you on our distribution trip for the donation drive, while sparing you more photos of the damage we saw. But, looking back through our photos, we felt this one showcased the glimmers we were able to find as we drove through the devastation. We're praying for everyone who was affected, in what must be their darkest moments, full of uncertainty and disbelief. We hope that as the dust settles (literally), they'll be able to notice these rays of sunshine, as little reminders that God is with them through it all.
This road in Swannanoa was completely covered in mud with downed trees and powerlines. We passed overturned vehicles, demolished buildings, and pieces of homes. But it led us to a church in the middle of what was left of a community. People were being fed and supplies were being distributed; kids were playing and adults were smiling; and in that small church yard, just steps away from their crushed homes, there was joy.
Your donations went to this church, as well as a school in Burnsville, and another church near Lake Lure.
At this point, these places are in desperate need of volunteers to sort these donations so that they can distribute them as promptly as possible. Please consider volunteering at a donation center. The roads are clear and easy to navigate. We can point you to some locations and organizations that we saw actively helping in the six towns we visited. We hope this spirit of giving and community continues to grow us all closer, blinding us from all the reasons we've been divided in the past. Keep being awesome, !

Thank you to everyone who came up with with such short notice! We are in WNC, fully packed with so many blankets, sweaters, jackets, socks, hats, gloves, & more! We were able to sort everything we received, and will probably need a trailer for the next trip!
We will try to update you on where your donations were distributed and when our next trip will be. If you have items you're still interested in donating, please try to sort and label them, and we will be happy to arrange a pickup when we return. Thanks again, !

Hi, ! We're going to shift gears this week. We have heard directly from WNC residents that they are in need of warm clothing and blankets due to the cold front moving in.
We are going to kick off our donation drive early this year. We are collecting both new and used winter wear and blankets over the next 2 days and will be personally driving them up on Monday. (This is a great opportunity for those who have been wanting to help, but may not have the funds to buy extra supplies, or know where to go to join the relief efforts for WNC.)
If you can get the word out to your neighbors and churches, we can come by and pick up donations tomorrow and Sunday.
If your job or business is able to be a drop-off location this weekend, please let us know, so we can share your location and arrange a time we can come pickup!

We have received several requests to open for the public, but have been serving private organizations and families in great need. As power is coming on across the Upstate, we wanted to reach out and see what areas are still in need.
Starting Monday, we are available to help as needed. Please let us know what areas are still without dining options, or if anyone needs help with errands, or even some time to recharge phones or appliances off our generator.

Well, we've been serving all day for a private event and it hasn't been so bad. We were really hoping Simpsonville was going to dodge the storm another night, but the radar shows otherwise, so we will be closed. Our October schedule will be posted soon, and we will see about rolling this month's donation drive over to next month. Hope everyone enjoys their night in.

We were planning on opening tonight until this warning was issued. For everyone's safety, we will be staying in tonight and hope you are, too.
Last night, we saw a show at the Peace Center. We went in at 7 and came out after 10, to what looked like a war zone. We had to run a few blocks in the rain, and passed several trees and powerlines that were down. We know thousands were without power, and pray they're getting everything back up and running soon. This morning we saw it reported that it was a microburst that came through. We went through one of those years ago, in the food truck, which suffered extensive damage. Needless to say, we're a little more cautious these days. That said, we will update on our Dinner Service & Donation Drive tomorrow. Stay safe, .

We have been stationary in Simpsonville for the last 10 months, and we are so grateful for those who have stopped by to try us, and those that took advantage of us being stationary and became regulars!
Please be sure to stop by this week, before we go back to private caterings. We will still have some of the tropical items, including both award winners: Kingston Nachos and the Hawaiian BBQ Stack. We have posted our full menu this week, so check out all we've got for you!
