Professionalism. Pure Music. Heartbeat Entertainment is led by DJ Heartbeat who developed a passion for musicology, and skill for working with people at an early age. Growing up in southern California, Heartbeat was influenced in his love for music by his parents as a child and was introduced to the sounds of original soul and funk, blues, Motown, salsa, meringue, cumbia, mariachi, and rock. As a
teen, he discovered rap, hip-hop, and R&B which fostered a deep love and connection for the evolution of music in today’s society. As an adult, Heartbeat launched his mobile DJ career in 2011 after surviving two heart attacks. When his cardiologist told him he needed to de-stress his career as a state worker, uncomplicate his life, and do something he loves, Heartbeat followed the music and founded Heartbeat Entertainment. “Being around people and music are two of the best things in life. Having the opportunity to be a part of someone’s special event is humbling, yet fun, and ultra special for me, too. Music is life.”
