This is a sister (waterproof) crown to a commission set I’m working on. Anyway I decided to release it into shop now instead of including it in my next collection as I’ve decided to take a more specific direction on that. When I work on customs, sometimes I like to make similar crowns after because I’d rather bead another crown than clean up all my beading after!
One of my reasons for doing collections is that it helps me manage my mess a bit!

This waterproof crown is not quite fitting into my next collection so I’m releasing it now! I found myself being inspired by sea glass when I was making it so I decided to run with it. Now available in shop!

Thank everyone for making Siren Iris collection such a success and a special thank you to .desert.siren featured here for helping with the promotion and providing the inspiration!

This Merbassador spotlight is something I’m open to do in the future just not super often because it takes a lot of planning and coordinating.

If you’re a repeat customer of mine, and have a portfolio of at least semi professional looking pictures wearing my crowns, and this is something you are interested in participating in, shoot me a dm letting me know!

I don’t have a set plan for how these will go. Sometimes I might want to feature one mer and sometimes maybe multiple mers for the same collection.

The Merbassadorships I’m doing are for a short duration but that allows me to rotate the spotlight. I’m happy to share my platform if that means the experience of wearing my work, brings more joy!

So excited to announce my next collection, Siren Iris!
Inspired by the beautiful aesthetics of .desert.siren!
The crown featured here is one she custom ordered. She asked for luscious purples, teals and magentas with a bit of flowers and an edge. This collection is going to explore these themes as well as branch off to other inspirations I gathered from her page! Waterproof clip set remodel! I’m bringing this one back from my teal depths collection!
I added a flower and more coral and streamlined the sides by taking out the bit of rope that was there before because this one didn’t need it. Anyway, I think she’s much better now!

Happy to end the month with having a chance to go to a pride event !
I had a wonderful time getting to sea some drag performances and do some dancing, especially with the little ones cuz they were so adorabubble!
It is nice to get to sea the community come together in support of a good cause!

Got commissioned this piece for a Little Mermaid play. (Still Waterproof!) And that’s really exciting to me because I love the theatre and have always wanted to be a costume designer!
This is an option I added particularly because with the other bra base I was limited to smaller cup sizes. That being said, if you prefer this style, you are welcome to it even if the other style would hypothetically fit you. I put the other variation of this design as the third pic in this post for reference.
Ruffles are optional as top, bottom, both or none. And then on top of that you can request top ruffle left up or for more coverage pinned down like the last pic.
It’s a mouthful but these are the kind of things I want my clients input on!

Waterproof crown in shop! She’s actually a little bit bigger than I want my waterproof crowns to be so please at checkout complete the buyer/seller safety agreement.
While I love the idea of waterproof crowns and what they can bring to your photos and events, as a buyer please exercise caution to those that may be swimming around you.
As a seller, to the other amazing crafters in the mermaid world, who make crowns, bras and especially tails, my personal advice is to take necessary precautions. Be clear in your shop what the risks are and have insurance! Anything can happen and you don’t want to be liable.
The fact that I was turned down by a few companies for liability insurance, means that I need it even more.
It was a pretty expensive investment to responsibly venture into the waterproof market but I think it’s gonna be worth it!

I love how this octopus crown catches the light with her colorshifting pigments! Siren crowns from this collection are moving quick but I still have this one available!

New Siren Dresses in shop! By the order of these pics they go small, large, medium.
They’re able to all fit any on this mannequin but the large is a little loose and the small is a tight squeeze.

I worked very hard on them and I hope you find them all exciting! I paired them all with an accessory for fun but there is a mix and match component as well since the collection all goes together! The accessories are starting to go quick!

There are three Siren dresses released in this collection but this one is probably my fave!
I have a small, medium and a large.
This one is the medium. While it may look form fitting on me, the fabric on the sides and back have a lot of extra room to stretch. You can also wear the mesh straps down as well and they go through the loops I made and can tie in back instead.
The matching clips sold, but if you want this dress with the matching clips you can get them expedited made to order at checkout. They won’t be exactly the same but definitely same idea!
This mermaidazzled dress took sooo long to make. No I didn’t make the dress completely from scratch but I altered her so much and changed the silhouette and added the ruffle. I took out the inner lining of fabric to make it sheer on bottom and voila! Magic!
