I love playing weddings. Every last one is special. I especially love playing weddings with families or friend groups I’ve played for previously. Case in point… celebrating Jesse and Natalie this evening! A little over three years ago, I played for Jesse’s sister, Lizzy, and her husband, Jorgen. The year before that, I played for Jesse and Lizzy’s God sister, Brittney, and her husband, Presley. Tonight, I got to see all of them again (along with Brittney and Presley’s itty bitty babies. And I loved it so much!

Loved celebrating with the Reids last night! Fourth in a line of college roommates I’ve had the privilege to work with. It was great to catch up with the Kringles, Stahlbergs, and Stevensons as well! The relationships built is my favorite part of being a DJ so it makes nights like last night extra special!

Received this card unexpectedly in the mail last week, and it made me a smile a lot. I got to celebrate with Jessica and Donny in October 2023, to receive this note 14 months later brings me a lot of joy as I head into the new year.

For me, it’s about far more than just being another vendor. It’s personal. How “U Can’t Beetus” Came To Be

Thanks for checking out U Can’t Beetus Entertainment as you look for DJ services for your wedding or social event. After several years of DJ experience, I decided that in 2018, I would make the jump into owning my own business. There are many options out there, so a brief pitch for why I should earn your business: I pride myself on providing a great experience leading up to and during your celebration, and view it as my job to make your event as worry-free as possible while providing a high-energy, memorable day for you and your guests. All of this, while providing competitive pricing.

Why the funny business name? For over two decades, I have lived with type 1 diabetes. If you grew up in the 1990s, think of Wilford Brimley talking about his “diabeetus” in all those old Liberty Medical commercials. As a kid, I attended Camp Hertko Hollow, a camp for kids with diabetes. As an adult, I’ve volunteered for many years as a counselor there as well. For each time I DJ, 10% of the money will be donated directly to the camp. Plain and simple, I’m able to take one passion of mine (music) and use it to help benefit another passion (camp).
