5 Fun Ways to Keep People Engaged on Zoom
Letâs be honest⌠a lot of Zoom presentations are B-O-R-I-N-G.
Here are 5 ideas to ideas to help you add some FUN to your Zooms to keep your audience engaged and coming back for more!
1. Include âbe present to winâ style giveaways. Consider what small prizes could be fun for your audience to win throughout your presentation. Try one for those who show up early or on time, another part-way through, and one at the end for those who stuck with you throughout. Mention the giveaways in your pre-event reminder emails!
2. Work in movement breaks and games. Plan dance/stretch/yoga breaks into the schedule and have people turn on their cameras and participate - add music!
3. Reset attention frequently by creating intentional movement in your presentationsâŚ
- Raise your hand ifâŚ
- Pick up something on your desk and show meâŚ
- Whoâs got an X around, show it to usâŚ
- Hands on your head ifâŚ
- Clap with meâŚ
- Jazz hands, everyone!
4. Create a âbingoâ style card for attendees. Include various things you will say or items you might hold up during the presentation. Have them fill in the cards while they watch/listen and send you a photo at the end to win a prize.
5. Play Trivia! Satisfy the âneedâ to multitask or do other âstuffâ by featuring random trivia questions participants can go search google to find the answers to - encourage them to do that, then post the answers in chat (youâre training them to come back when you do this intentionally ;) ).

Want to maximize your revenue from live events? Here are a few things you should keep in mind.
1. Market your event well in advance. More attendees = more profit.
2. Determine your ticket prices (Free only if you have other income sources).
3. Consider sponsorships. Sponsors add extra income and also engagement with your attendees, which gives both an added reason to attend.
4. Offer VIP packages. This is a great way to increase revenue and cover costs.
5. Sell merchandise. Attendees love purchasing swag!
6. Collect donations. Collecting donations from attendees is another great way to generate additional revenue for your event or sponsor a charity or a cause related to the eventâs theme.
7. Create an Event Assessment. Creating a self-evaluation assessment as part of your marketing strategy will help you attract the right audience and increase back of room sales.

Top 5 reasons coaches don't want to host their own live event:
1. Time constraints: A coach may have a busy schedule that doesn't allow for planning and executing a live event.
2. Financial constraints: Hosting a live event can be expensive, and a coach may not have the necessary funds to cover the costs.
3. Lack of resources: Hosting a live event requires a lot of resources, such as a venue, equipment, and staff. A coach may not have access to these resources.
