Full Service Photography Service My name is Mike Dragon, I’ve been a photographer for over ten years. I later decided to pursue a degree in photography.

Photography began as a hobby for me and grew into my profession. As a child I used a 35mm film camera and began my first photography courses in High School. Taking the time to learn the science and the history behind the art gave me an even greater appreciation for my work. Out of college I worked for a local photographer as an assistant. I quickly became an editing, producing, designing, and phot

ography expert. Within the team I focused on photoshop and editing software. During this time I learned first hand what it takes to run a photography studio on a daily basis. My photography style is unique and unlike anyone I have seen. I understand the functional aspects of photography and take pride in being able to shoot with a fully manual camera in this technologically advanced age. I can develop my own film and learned alternative processes to make prints with sunlight and mixtures of chemicals in my parents garage. Although I am serious about my business, I take a laid back approach to photography and ensure everyone gets the five star treatment when working with me. Dragon Studio is a personalized experience where I know each client far beyond a business transaction. I promote a fun atmosphere where everyone enjoys the shoot or event I attend.

Commercial food photography is a lot of fun for me. It's not just about getting great images - it's great to get to see how the chefs do it. Taste testing later, when appropriate, isn't a bad perk, either.

Christine and Savoy had a beautiful day at The Hermitage Museum for their wedding. I always tell couples that you don't have to be traditional for your wedding, and Christine and Sovay did that in every aspect. Sovay's wedding gown was hand-made and red. They had a flower dog. Their friend played the piano for them. Sovay played the harp. They had an incredible first dance.

Blake and Lindy have been clients for life since they got married 10 years ago. For this family session, they wanted to go to Town Center, right by the Westin where they got married. Their kids call it the Wedding Tower, which is really adorable. I've gotten to take their family photos whenever their kids were newborn and it's been cool to be part of watching them grow up. My job is always easy when I work with this wonderful family. We started over in the wooded area of First Landing and then made our way over to the beach because we got swarmed by mosquitos. We made the most of it.

You know that kids love being on the beach and putting their toes in the sand and finding shells, so no one was complaining at all. It was a great time.

There were a lot of familiar faces at Jordyn and Timothy's wedding - I met them at a past wedding AND one of their bridesmaids is one of my second photographers, Taylor. You might see her in a few photos. The venue actually belongs to her family and was the perfect backdrop to a pretty wonderful day.
