their design was based heavily on that week in between christmas and new years feeling. i leaned into that hard. people are celebrating, people are dressing up, and people just want to have a good time. festive, without santa claus or reds. it was just really nothing short of magic.

design inspo: ultra organic with whimsy, modern-garden inspired elements.
this was my starting point for design work on sydney & nick’s wedding day based on the inspiration photos they shared with me in fall of 2022.
i wanted to make sure we had the perfect balance of modern and timeless for their reception and we achieved that by:
✨bringing in a clear top tent vs. the sail cloth that is typically used on property
✨using floral stems that were not designed in a traditionally “arranged” way, but more so stemmy and organically placed as if they were growing directly from the table
✨utilizing interesting, funky vessels for some of the buds incorporated in addition to matte white containers
✨keeping the place setting clean and neat with a matte charger plate and matte gold flatware, a neutral linen napkin without a fancy fold, and ultra elevated handmade paper inclusive of a timeless, pretty font.
each and every element of this wedding design was done so intentionally. just wait til you see the ceremony 🥂

the most flawless day for E+T 🤍
ellen came to me with a ✨VISION. she knew the colorway she wanted in her design and the inspo photos she shared reflected such traditional beautiful class that it made me so excited to execute and give it a little bit of “you know castiglione events was here” 😏
some details behind the place setting design:
the mixed china from , polished vintage inspired flatware and the colored glassware from enabled the setting to have an elevated, yet playful feel.
i decided handmade paper was an absolute must to top it off and delivered with a gorgeous blue menu that doubled as the guest place card.

leah + alex knew exactly the type of wedding they wanted and chose their venue impeccably.
i pulled from the modern vibes gives and played off the blacks and greys without sacrificing color. it was a dance fueled night with and radiated so much romance. cheers L+A! 🥂

alexandra + aspen | their wedding reception was a dream. i paired ‘down the shore’ with a ‘cool bride’ vibe to create an effortless, yet elevated party for them and their out of town guests.
long branch is such an amazing place to host an NJ destination wedding weekend in the summer. there are plenty of great hotels, tons and tons of amazing restaurants, and of course the beach. A+A certainly did this right ✨

christmas eve thoughts:
i spend the entire year making magic for couples. the energy and love i put into that comes from the person i am at my core. a person who loves to love, who loves to give, and who loves to make others feel so very special. this time of year is sacred to me and i have learned to take some time away from my work for a little bit to be fully present with my family, reset, and get ready for a brand new 365 days.
to the loves of my life, kevin, summer, & parker:
making christmas magic for you is one of the truest joys of my life and i am ridiculously fortunate to be able to do so ❤️ thank you for letting me🤶🏻 (although you don’t really have much choice 😏)
