Independent Events was established in 1993 by our wonderful founder and C.E.O. We are an entertainment, production and promotion corporation that served production for Alice Cooperstown for over 16 years with world class staff. We also produce and handle shows for many clients throughout the valley as well as produce visual media from music videos, commercials and infomercials to photography and graphic design.

These 2 pictures are very symbolic to us so we thought we would share these thoughts with you:

Dune (CEO) has been keeping things afloat at IE for 30 years now. He may not be as young and spry as he used to be, but he can still rock n' roll with the best of them!! Joey (GM) has been with us a little over 12½ years and takes care of everything production related from maintenance and management to deploying the gear and our teams out in the field. They may seem like an odd pair, but they are definitely cut from the same cloth! If you have worked with us before, you know that these two will work tirelessly to make every event they are involved with an absolute success.

Now for the symbolism: Our PA speakers reflect back on the relationship these two have developed and how hard one has to work before the next will come to boost the other. The speaker box on the left is part of our old PA that we relied on while at Alice Cooperstown and for many many many other events we supplied production for. It may not be the prettiest, but it can still handle just about anything we throw at it. The speakers on the right are part of the new PA and the baton is currently being passed from one to the other, just like what happened with Dune and Joey. We are proud of what one accomplished so the other can build on it and can't wait to see what's in store moving forward!

This is just a reminder that no matter how old you or your gear may be, you can still give your craft the absolute dedication and commitment it deserves and it will reward you accordingly. It may have taken some time to reach this point, but the journey has been far greater than the destination.

As a side note: We'd love to hear your favorite memory from working with these two at Coops or any other events! We look forward to seeing you all again on our continued journey through the world of events!
