It’s the season for outdoor events! Yessss☀️and, ah No ☔️. Entertaining outdoors is not for everyone, being flexible and at ease with last minute changes are two important keys to success. Rain is typically a big concern .
If you are looking to have elegant table scapes and dressed up guests, tents with solid floors and “walls” may be your biggest,but best, expense.
Wind can also be a factor for planning decor. My profile picture is from a waterfront anniversary party we created. I decided on the centerpieces using heavy glass containers with sand and shells for weight.
We bought a case of wine and made custom labels relating to the celebration. It looked great, did not blow over and held the table covers in place. At events end, the bottles were sent home with guests who helped either at the celebration or were in the original wedding party.
Whatever the weather, having friends and family together is the very best and MOST important detail of any personal event.
