Time to celEBrate ✨ Elise’s Bat Mitzvah at Hudson Loft was a blended modern sophistication with youthful energy. Inspiration was taken from both and . Rope light chandeliers cast a warm glow over the festivities, while touches of silver and blue created a dreamy atmosphere. As the night progressed, it was clear: this was more than an event; it was a moment to remember.⁠

From concept to celebration, Ryder’s Bar Mitzvah was a slam dunk! We transformed The Knowlton in Bridgeport into a neon-lit basketball paradise. Sneaker chandeliers and custom RYDER logos set the vibe for an unforgettable night. ⁠

We love and miss working with this super sweet couple and their families throughout their entire wedding planning process. From date & venue selection early on... to making sure the Pizza Purse was out on full display for late night - our team was thrilled to be part of their special day every step of the way. ⁠

Bathed in the warmth of a perfect summer day, Jordana & David’s guests were treated to a celebration where glamour and nature danced in harmony. We loved the sweeping Hudson Valley views from atop our perch at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. The vista create a beautiful back drop for an enchanting, romantic evening for this fabulous foodie couple. The Marcus Reid band was responsible for keeping the room energized from the moment guests entered the tent. As you can imagine, with their talent the dance floor was HOT, HOT, HOT all night long! ⁠

Parisian courtside vibes, anyone? 🎾🌸 Samara’s Bat Mitzvah was all about elegance, fun, flowers and some Roland Garros magic. To create the grandstands we flipped the layout in Brae Burn turning the stage into a tiered kids lounge with the main court (aka dance floor) at center. Around the room guests found a multitude of French Bistros and in the corner a Creperie under the Eiffel tower. ‘Samara in Paris’ was truly unforgettable! ⁠

From ‘I do’ to ‘Surprise!’ - our journey with Kristin and Paolo continues! After crafting their dream wedding in 2019, we were thrilled to orchestrate Paolo’s surprise 50th birthday bash at the picturesque Waccabuc Country Club. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow across the lawn, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the trust our clients place in us. This year, we even had the pleasure of diving into the spooky spirit with their annual Halloween party - proving that every season is a celebration waiting to happen!⁠

It was a perfect summer day celebrating the hard work of BDT & MSD’s New York team. We can’t take credit for the spectacular weather ⁠on that beautiful July day... but we did have fun cultivating all of the event details. The design all started with a unique floral print that was then woven into all aspects of the day. The pattern was used on the bar to create a centerpiece for the main tent. Then, again on food trays, food displays, DJ Booth and games. All of the flowers used at the event were purposefully taken directly from this art, too. ⁠We loved the end result!

Who says weddings can’t be playful? Jenna and Zach’s camp wedding proved that love and fun go hand in hand. From the moment we met this couple we knew we were crafting a unique experience that was both breaking from and embracing traditions. ⁠
⁠
Our groom, a newly graduated graphic artist, helped set the tone from the start with the clever ticket invitation he created... along with all of the event branding. On the day of, guests arrived to enjoy cocktail hour followed by an intimate ceremony in the round. Upon Jenna & Zach both Breaking the Glass, a second line band from Hudson Horns guided the newlyweds and their guests to the reception Pavilion where guests danced the afternoon away with the band. ⁠
⁠
Is there anything more fun than to creating custom T-shirts, delicious gourmet food stations, lawn games and crafts at a wedding?!? We think not! For a couple who got engaged with a coffee table, this wedding was perfectly them and far from ordinary - it was extraordinary. ⁠

The highlight? A kickball game finale that had everyone cheering!⁠

Lizzie and Zack’s wedding was a beautiful full-circle moment for us. Years ago, Jess had the privilege of working on one of Zack’s first major life celebrations - his Bar Mitzvah. Years later, our whole team had the honor of bringing Zack and Lizzie’s wedding vision to life.

It is incredibly meaningful to be able to work with clients time and time again. There is less of the getting-to-know-you period and we are able to jump right in already knowing what makes a client tick… and ultimately who we are entertaining for that event. All that said, we did really enjoy getting to know our beautiful bride Lizzie through the process. Her family is equally kind and wonderful to Zack’s. We loved infusing her family traditions into their ceremony and celebration. One of the most memorable parts of the planning process was our journey between loose flower arrangements vs tight ones. We wont say who preferred which but we will say the Enza nailed a design that appealed to both Bride and Groom.

Zack and Lizzie found their perfect person in each other. This was more than evident while collaborating to create a seemless wedding weekend for their friends and family. Their giant smiles all weekend long reflected the love these two share and were brilliantly infectious!

When two themes compete, sometimes it’s the name decides. For Cece’s Bat Mitzvah, her middle name, Frost became our muse. Guests were greeted by a magical winter wonderland entrance, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration. From the shimmering icicle ceiling to the whimsical ski slope photo booth, every detail was a nod to one of Cece’s favorite locations: Aspen.⁠

But the real showstopper? A surprise snow foam party that further turned up the dance floor. From the first snowflake to the last dance, Cece’s celebration proved you don’t need sub-zero temperatures to host the coolest party in town.⁠

There was no reLAXin’ Mason’s Mitzvah. We used every crevasse of the Whippoorwill Club to entertain all the friends. Guests of all ages were loving the Gameshow, Hungry Hippos, Photobooth, Street Hoops and even a Race Track - a nod to his love for Formula 1. Not to mention MTM hyping up the crowd and keeping them movin’ all night. Collaborating with Nicole to bring this vision to life was 🥅

We infused Sunningdale Country Club with coastal charm, from the sun-kissed color palette to the playful surfboard simulator. Ben’s Bar Mitzvah at the Rainbow Room was a game-changer from the first pitch to the final inning! ⚾️ We transformed this iconic Rainbow Room into a sports lover’s paradise, blending the excitement of the ballpark with the elegance of the vintage New York. The crowd went wild for our custom Subway car food kiosk and locker room photo booth, bringing a taste of Yankee Stadium to the heart of Manhattan. It was truly a grand slam of sport, style, and NYC flair. Mazel tov to our MVP, Ben! ⁠
