Our Story
In 1994, upon my return to Oklahoma from California, I began to smoke meat outside to save energy because the house my father, cousin and I lived in did not have central air. We used the wood of a giant pecan tree that was split by lightning the year before. The meat was delicious! Friends and Family frequented the house and I let them indulge, waiting for that smile to grow on their face when they bit into real, home-grown BBQ.
24 years later, I’ve nearly perfected my style and Smoke Dogg’s BBQ was born. So have a bite.....and smile!!
