Im not sure it’s possible to pick ten images to tell the story of this perfect fall wedding day. 🍂

The started out a bit cloudy, then came a touch of rain, but right as photos began the rain stopped and we had a cool breeze and falling orange and red leaves. I mean…come on!

Playing off of this beautiful fall palette we incorporated fern green, burnt oranges, burgundy and soft peach. Everything was so warm and inviting with a cozy feel!

Celebrating L+R was easy and it was the perfect way to end a beautiful 2023 season!

Confession: I’m a sucker for a good Hallmark Christmas movie, and this one tonight is hitting so close to home! ✨

I have many special memories at the beautiful including the first weekend away with my boyfriend, now husband to see the holiday decorations, our baby moon getaway 4 years ago and this stunner of a wedding day!

This venue is for one that loves grandeur, history, beautiful architecture and stunning views of the blue ridge mountains. The perfect backdrop for such a milestone celebration!

I’ll be honest, dreaming up fun seating displays is a love of mine. I love finding that one thing that not only speaks to my couples, but to their love story and creating a visual representation of that for the big day. ✨

Each couple is different, every story is different - so creating something beautiful and unique is not only a challenge, but such a joy!

For A+T I knew immediately I wanted to tie in New York City - their home and where they will start their married life together. Since the wedding was at a traditionally southern venue, I didn’t want to incorporate this into the overall design, so the seating display was the perfect touch!

Thanks to the help of my incredible fabrication team and rockstar designer, we were able to bring the vision to life. The background was a beautiful line map of Manhattan in the most beautiful green to tie into their wedding stationery. Each table was not only numbered, but named after a NYC landmark that was special to A+T. Sure, some were recognizable (think Empire State Building), but others were more personal locations - which made me love this even more!

The continuity from invitation suite to day-of paper was stellar for this one. And while this isn’t a grand, over the top display, its perfectly hygga design fit the overall aesthetic for the day. It will be a forever favorite!

The Blanton’s worked y’all - we couldn’t have had more perfect weather to celebrate SJ + C! A sunny fall day with a cool breeze and all the beautiful details! I can’t wait to share more from this incredible day!

Well, friends - we made it! It’s our final wedding of the year [whoa!] and we’re going out with a bang! ✨

Tonight we get to celebrate L+R with a beautiful tented fall fête! Think: warm cinnamon, terracotta, goldenrod and fern green. Are you hooked yet?!

Working with these two has been so much fun and I’m so excited the big day is finally here! All the hours of hard work are going to pay off and we get to celebrate these two with all of their family and friends!

Thank you to this amazing vendor team for all the time and effort to make this a beautiful night for all! I couldn’t do it without you!

When all the details come together and magic happens ✨

This will be a forever favorite day. No just for the beautiful design elements, the precious couple & the incredible vendor team. But because it was a day proves why having a top notch team of vendors is vital to a successful event.

The morning started off cloudy with the rain starting about an hour earlier than expected. Our couple was adamant about getting their photos outside in the gardens so everyone kicked it into gear and made it happen!

The beauty team finished over an hour early, the photography team scooted over early, the venue reset the ceremony inside and we were able to give this couple exactly what they wanted! They got their photos in the gardens and while they got a little damp, it didn’t bother them one bit!

Keys to a wedding day success: trust your team, have an open mind and remember at the end of the day you’re getting married to your best friend!

With engagement just around the corner, the inquires are starting to roll in! I’m so excited to talk with each of you, but I have a booking update to share!

I love nothing more than chilly setup mornings followed by bright blue Carolina skies [however, I think my team would gladly disagree with me on the first part!].

Where do I begin….

Today has been a year+ in the making and from the first phone call with SJ, I knew this was going to be fun! Flash forward to our first budget meeting over dinner [where I’m sure I scared both S + C a bit!] and after chatting over a meal I could just tell this was the perfect fit! ✨

SJ + C, thank you for trusting in me to plan and design such a milestone moment in your lives. I’m beyond humbled and honored to be a part of this chapter and I cannot wait to celebrate you both [so hard] today!

Now it’s time to pop the champagne, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! The hundreds of hours of planning have all paid off and today will be nothing short of perfection! Love you both tremendously, you’re family - and I’m so happy to know our text messages will never end!

One of my favorite days, with some of my favorite people at one of my favorite places! ✨

R+Y’s wedding day was one for the books. From the beautiful design, to the thoughtfully curated details - everything came together so perfectly! Plus, these two are just amazing which it made it so easy to celebrate them all day!

My favorite detail: the nod to R’s cowboy roots. You could find cowboy hats, both large and small throughout the day. Along with other masculine touches like leather backed dinner menus and custom embossed leather signage, it turned out just the right amount of country 🤠

After a beautiful weekend away celebrating our anniversary, it feels so good to be home! ✨

Diving in with both feet tomorrow to button up details for our final two weddings of the year! We have some seriously beautiful celebrations to wrap up our 2023 season, I can’t wait to show you what we have planned!

It’s hard to believe we’re almost to the close of our season. We’ve had such an incredible year with some event more incredible clients. This stunner from June will go down in the history books. I can’t wait to share more!

It’s hard to believe this day was 11 years ago. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday, and sometimes it feels like it had to have been 20 years ago - but I guess that’s marriage, right?!

We’ve seen a lot of change over this past decade+: multiple moves, career changes, traveling the world, but my favorite has been watching you become a Dad. I’m so thankful I get to do life with you , and even when it gets hard I know I have the best partner to help get us through it.

Thank you for your patience, your support, the jokes and for loving me for me. Here’s to many, many more years together and all the exciting things to come! I love you to the moon and back, forever and ever, amen. 🤍

On the road again - and this time, we’re headed to a place that holds such a special spot in my heart - Wilmington, NC. ✨

It’s the town where and I went to college, met, fell in love, got married & started our life together. Tomorrow is our anniversary and we thought what better way to celebrate than heading back to where it all began.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since I’ve been to this beautiful beach town. Feels like yesterday that we packed up and moved to DC! To say I’m excited to go back is an understatement - let’s just say, I can’t wait to hit up all our old favs and eat our way through the next four days!

When the design comes to life throughout all elements of the wedding day, magic is made! ✨

R+Y wanted a Tuscan cowboy theme so we took it and ran with it! It was important to me to include some more masculine design elements which we achieved by incorporating leather accents. From leather embossed bar signage to leather backed dinner menus, these added the depth needed to round out the design!

While we kept the overall aesthetic romantic and airy, we added in personal touches that could be seen from invitation suite to the wedding day including the perfect cowboy boots! These were my favorite touch (and guests as well!) to the details card in the invitation suite and we pulled this into the day-of design on the signage, custom leather koozies and seating display. The mini cowboy hat graced the welcome boxes and were featured on the custom display wall.

Needless to say, this Tuscan inspired design had the most perfect cowboy touches and I will be forever obsessed!
