The DJ Stache Story
DJ Stache (Larry and Angie Powell) started doing karaoke @ Hank’s H***y Tonk in Murfreesboro, TN in July 2017. Ken Strobe, the owner of Hank’s, previously worked with Angie and always talked about opening up a h***y tonk when he retired. Larry would always joke with Ken and tell him that when he opened up the h***y tonk that he would provide the karaoke. After Ken retired and his dream of opening up a h***y tonk became a reality, he called Larry and asked if he would like to host karaoke for him. From that moment forward, DJ Stache was born. Since Hank’s, DJ Stache has hosted karaoke for Short Mountain Distillery in Woodbury, DJed a Christmas party for Pool & Spa Depot @ Margaritaville on Broadway in Nashville, DJed several weddings and receptions, and provided entertainment for numerous parties.
