As we prepare for our busiest wedding season yet we had to take a minute to share the gorgeous wedding that kicked off 2023 for us.
Courtney and Ryan's wedding was truly exciting! Their special day was undoubtedly filled with love, joy, and all the little details that make a wedding truly magical. From the stunning venue to the delicious pizza & ice cream and, of course, the happy couple themselves, there was so much to celebrate. Venue Coordinator VS. Wedding Coordinator

Some people hear the term Venue coordinator & assume they will handle everything. While that might be true for some, it's important to know exactly what exactly a venue coordinator can provide for you & how that differs from a Wedding/ Day-of-coordinator.

Venue Coordinators will handle things related to the venue & direct you on how best to use its space
♦️ Electrical hookups + Lighting assistance
♦️ Restroom management (if on site)
♦️ Venue payment plan
♦️ Vendor access
♦️ Tables & chairs if they are provided

Typically they do not provide services like creating & managing your day of timeline or floor plan, Working with your vendors prior to your event & being the point of contact, setting up your decor/floral/personal items/tables, communicating with your DJ for event timing such as First dance, Toasts, etc.

We personally love working WITH Venue coordinators.

One of the biggest myths is that having a Venue Coordinator means you don't need a Wedding Planner or Day of Coordinator for your big day. The reality is a Venue Coordinators responsibilities & duties are for the venue & not you. It's important to hire a Planner or Coordinator for all of your wedding requirements, from set up, decorations, timelines & more.
