I'm Caroline, designer
and head planner of Social Planner Events who as been saved by grace, a homeschooling mother of five, and an entrepreneur at heart. I have been been doing day-of coordination for weddings of friends, family and fellow church members since 2008.
In 2017 I had a multitude of life changing events. including a successful business event coordinating, blogging, social media career. I completely jumped into 2018 onto the wedding scene in San Antonio as a coordinator, planner, wedding designer and soloprenuer (only by God's grace and my husbands unbelievable support). And there is no looking back now!
But before all that I also... was the Board of Directors of Bear River Young Life and Head Coordinator of the yearly fundraising banquet from 2007 to 2014. Here is where I found my love for providing food, entertainment and an over all exciting experience for each guest that came to the fundraiser. These nonprofit events allowed me lots of creative space, while on a budget and mindful of repeat attending guests (aka, I had to keep it fresh). Every year I had my work cut out for me.
And even before that... It had been my pleasure to work many different aspects of the event and wedding industry which include high end and private catering, rental company labor (setting up huge canopy tents and washing dishes), plus multiple facets of event tech work from video projection to guest speaker recordings. I share this only because I know how hard each vendor works and how important it is to work with them respectfully and kindly.
