Guess it’s true, can take the girl from the island, but not the island from the girl 🏝️Their first experience at a CA beach and they barely dipped their toes 😂Also, I forgot how salty and fishy these beaches smell 🫠Can’t beat home, that’s for sure. The Natural Bridges at Santa Cruz were gorgeous and a site to see, though 😊Especially when the sun started to set! We unexpectedly spent 25 days off our island and on the continent doing a whole smattering of adventuring! Most recent realization of becoming my parent - I only want to drink coffee out of a mug! I don’t want a paper cup or a cover of any sort-I am now my father, driving with my mug in hand on the way to school drop off because the mug makes all the difference. Happy to learn this week that Starbucks has their mugs back! Also, not embarrassed at how exciting this news was to me! ☕️ #incaseyouneededtoknow
