When the whole team is walking in the same direction, the ideas get better, the strategy gets stronger, and the group chat gets significantly more entertaining.

Behind every post, event, website, report, campaign, and “can we make this feel a little more on-brand?” is this team making it happen.

Creative brains. Event energy. Marketing strategy. And yes, probably coffee.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice is not forgotten.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Memorial Day from Tolbert Marketing & Events.

More content is not always the answer.

Sometimes the better answer is clearer content.

A stronger message.
A better offer.
A cleaner landing page.
A more intentional event.
A smarter follow-up plan.

Marketing works best when all the pieces are connected.

Thoughts your marketing team has while capturing content in your beautiful homes:

“Ooooh, this bathroom lighting.”
“Wait, I need this tile in my house.”
“This pantry deserves its own post.”
“The natural light is doing exactly what it needs to do.”
“Can we get one more shot of that kitchen?”

When we’re collecting content, we’re not just filming rooms — we’re looking for the little details that make someone stop, save, and picture themselves living there.

Basically, we came for the content and left with a full design wish list.

We ask our clients a lot of the same questions before content goes live.

Is the hook strong?
Is the point clear?
Is there a next step?
Does this support the bigger goal?

So we turned those questions into a simple checklist you can use before your next post.

Comment CHECKLIST and we’ll send it your way.

Sometimes the best content idea is just getting outside and hitting record.

You don’t need a full production setup to create something useful, engaging, or on-brand. Start with what you already have:

GRWM
OOTD
Behind the scenes
Sneak peeks
Day in the life
Quick tips
Team intros
Event prep
What you’re working on

The biggest content mistake? Waiting until everything feels perfect.

Don’t overthink it. Just start filming.

We tell our clients all the time: your marketing should build trust before someone ever reaches out.

That means showing up with purpose, sharing helpful content, making your brand feel approachable, and creating moments that remind people why they want to work with you.

So yes, we practice what we preach.

Strategy, content, events, reporting, creative direction, and a whole lot of “wait, this could be a better hook.”

That’s the work behind the work.

Posting just to check the box is not a strategy.

The strongest content usually does one of four things:
Builds trust.
Educates your audience.
Shows proof.
Moves someone toward action.

That does not mean every post needs to sell. But every post should have a purpose.

That is what we help our clients think through every month — and it is what we try to practice here, too.

Creating content doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective. 😉

You don’t need fancy equipment or perfectly polished videos to start showing up online.

Katelyn is sharing a few simple tips to help realtors create stronger listing content with what they already have.
