While patrolling, officers have observed ice accumulation on roadways in some areas throughout the City of Easley.

The following roads should be avoided:

🧊Saco Lowell Road (heavy accumulation)
🧊Jeanette Street (heavy accumulation)
🧊Olive Street
🧊Glenwood Road
🧊Saluda Dam Road
🧊Cardinal Drive

If you must utilize the above streets, please slow down and use extreme caution. Expect icy conditions where roadways are heavily shaded. 🚙

Temperatures are predicted to remain in the low 20s throughout the evening, causing more ice to form and remain for the coming days.🌡️

We urge citizens to please remain home, if possible. 🏠

Brrrrr! It certainly already FEELS like it’s going to snow! 🥶🥶

Latest weather reports predict that snow will begin in the Easley area around 9 a.m. tomorrow, January 10 and with the average temperatures remaining low, ice on the roads is expected to start accumulating around 10:00 a.m. ❄️

Again, if you must drive, we urge motorists to allow plenty of travel time, leave space between vehicles, and stay alert to road conditions. If possible, please stay home.🏠

You guys have got to try Choo Choo’s Ice cream near the Silos in Easley. Ice cream, donuts, cotton candy and more. Everything was delicious! Friendly owners, excellent service! Highly recommend!
